In aviation, nuclear or aerospace industries, human factors have been applied for many decades. In the O&G, recognition of HF has been growing in recognition and accelerated since the Deepwater Horizon incident in 2010.
In order to fully understand the topic and provide our members with this vital knowledge and an overview to recent developments across industries the Offshore Group in collaboration with the East Anglia Branch are hosting human factors specialist Dr Marcin Nazaruk. This one-hour live webinar is not to be missed and will allow enough time to answer your questions.
This webinar will provide an introduction to the human factors discipline, the different topics it covers and show examples of practical application in the area of incident investigation.
Dr Nazaruk is currently working as Human Performance and Culture Leader at Baker Hughes and is a chartered psychologist as well as chartered member of IOSH. He is a chair of the SPE Human Factors Technical Section and won the 2018 IOGP Outstanding Young Professionals Award for his work on Human Factors.
