What a shame...
ОтветитьWaste of money is what it is! Lenovo thinkpad is the best n cheaper!
ОтветитьIt’s weird how 6 cores was impressive only 3 years ago. It feels like we’ve past 6 cores ages ago
ОтветитьThanks for the review. Now I definitely want the VAIO SX12 and not the XPS. The author of the video knows little about physics and quality and surprisingly does not think deeply, but whoever understands will understand :)
A surprising number of people who do reviews do not understand basic physics. For example, that flexibility, not hardness, provides strength. I also often criticize and eww about the "low" screen resolution or refresh rate of some hardware, which is facepalmed by how few people understand the connection between screen resolution/refresh rate and battery life. Just like almost all reviewers are completely devoid of physical understanding why for a laptop the refusal to have a separate round port for charging and the transition to USB-C is very, very, very bad from the point of view of reliability and durability. What can we say about more complex things... Almost 100% of people who do reviews lack engineering, scientific thinking, let alone ordinary buyers...
Or we can say that almost 100% of people, like complete optimists, think about superficial, easily measurable characteristics, and not about quality, reliability and durability, which are not so easy to measure and understand.
I loved the old Sony Vaios because they were just so ahead of their time in industrial design. Now they just sort of look like every other one out there.
ОтветитьMy 2011 Sony Vaio just stopped working after 12 years which is impressive. I've been thinking about getting a new one but don't like how the screen sizes now are so small
ОтветитьI like Touchscreens. I absolutly hate glaring displays. Quite the dilemma. For a Laptop i'd like go matt over touchscreen every day. But even my big gaming laptop , bought at roughly that time was way cheaper than this.
ОтветитьVaio without Sony is not Vaio
ОтветитьThe VAIO was my dream Laptop back then. It's expensive but cool
Ответитьlol vga
ОтветитьMy family had this VAIO all-in-one PC with top of the line specs at the time, and was amazing, that was a real i-mac killer. I recently got it out of storage to try and restore it (nothing bad happened to it, just thermals could be better and it got old lol)
ОтветитьI bought a White ea series and it looked amazing back in 2010. It got me through hs and college. It was worth the money.
ОтветитьWhy would you ever spend $1900 on that 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьBut the Dell sucks. I got an XPS and it overheats. Touchscreen is a gimmick anyway.
Ответитьsony is great. watching on a sony vaio and not into vaio any more.
ОтветитьIt costs a lot of money because it's not made in china with slave labor
Ответить4 years on and this guy is horrible at making reviews. Fucking leaf
ОтветитьNo way you can use track pad in 2020. 🤨 This doesn't seem like a great laptop and all, but I wouldn't want to use a touchscreen for most things on a laptop either.
ОтветитьNah sony need come back i have sony vaio pro 13 its really good
ОтветитьThis is why the trackpoint is great! You can have that tiny of a laptop that has a decent pointing experience. I'd die if I had to use that trackpad... (ThinkPad gang)
ОтветитьVaio is very bad
It’s expensive and easily break down
Repair takes at least 3 months
And very bad service after Sony left them
shortcircuit: this is not a sony
me: im watching on sony vaio
im 12 and i really like this guy videos. i think i might be gay now im not going to tell my parents though
Ответитьyou can see how much he really wants to like the laptop
Ответитьwowowoow
ОтветитьSony should have kept it merge mobile division which Vaio division put under Sony Electronics
ОтветитьDisrespectful dude
ОтветитьVaio mistake still here... Even my 10 yo vaio has the same problem... Absolutely NO vents on the bottom, i had to drill that bottom cover to save my laptop from overheating. Here's tha same problem, 94 degrees is not not ok for 6-core processor...
ОтветитьSeems pretty ok for college and those vga projectors 😂
ОтветитьIts impossible for me to look at that laptop and think it's not a sony.
ОтветитьVAIO might be a separate company now. But Sony still owns the company.
ОтветитьAnswer: No. Drivers are almost impossible to find.
ОтветитьWow this laptop looks like laptops before 2010
ОтветитьI own a 2007 Vaio laptop and it is still working. A bit slow for browsing internet (use Samsung tablet s7 for that) but still works fine with office. But I wonder if the quality has declined after the spin off from Sony?
ОтветитьRemember wanting a vaio laptop a few years ago. Now idrc abt it anymore 💀
Ответитьwould be good 6 years ago
ОтветитьNice review, everything was perfect, just one little fact went misleading unintentionally, its a full Carbon chassis no metal or alloys anywhere, hence the plasticky feel, lightweight and costly.
ОтветитьHasee laptops?
ОтветитьEvery time I see something about vaio it makes me wanna get my Vaio from the closet and start using it
Ответитьgo on alex, smash that laptop into the wall as a flex test, thats what the average consumer would do after all
ОтветитьI hadan F series Sony Vaio back in 2009-2010. It had blue-ray disc rw, 1080p display, liquid proof keyboard and hella impressive build and sound quality.
Now looking at this embrassment is so sad. I had pity on HP, DELL users back in 2010 but seeing how much they improved is shocking.
I like small trackpads
ОтветитьDon't complain about too many ports! I'd much prefer to have too many than hardly any at all!
Ответитьwhat a joke over 1k$ laptop
ОтветитьI have a computer that was $2000 when it came out in 2007. It's sturdy, durable, reliable, and better than that Vaio pile of junk. My laptop was made using a magnesium alloy though. Wish they still used it in the production of laptops. But then again, it all comes to "They don't make them like they used to"
Ответитьit's all good and all, but I wanna see and know more about how this machine do stuff, you know? video/photo editing etc.. it's not like I'm buying laptop for bending and pushing it
Ответитьlooks like a 2014 laptop
ОтветитьThey need to go on Indigogo and get new grassroots investors.
ОтветитьFor that price is not even half as good as its competitor that price range
Ответить
