the shade with celsius being correct lmfaoooo
ОтветитьThe one question I have is how does the performance change as they update their firmware/software and algorithms? Your data shows that the whoop3 performed differently than the 4 but in later videos the whoop 4 had less agreement across sleep stages. I’d like to see a mega review of a handful of the popular wrist tracking devices, mainly how the whoop4 compares to the Apple Watch ultra 2 with all the new updates to software on the whoop4, like the strength training feature, and the ultra 2’s new OS and so on.
ОтветитьHe lost me at COVID 19
ОтветитьGreat video. I prefer whoop over Apple Watch simply because the whoop is more rugged and fits more of my lifestyle. I do martial arts and have whoop on me, even take it in the sauna.
Something that I cannot do with Apple Watch and other wearables
we need nerds like this guy. good work.
ОтветитьI would be interested in the performance of the new ScanWatch 2
ОтветитьBest review on whoop 4 I’ve seen. Thank you for this.
ОтветитьSo is that electronic pill a one-time-use thing or what? Not sure I'd want to fish that out and reuse it...
ОтветитьBest channel to compare smart watch accuracy
ОтветитьImagine buying a watch that doesn’t tell you the time
ОтветитьYou are making some basic scientific mistake when you collect data. Collecting data that says if people are born they die and then drawing the conclusions we should stop having children because they will all end up dying, is philosophical nonsense and it isn't science...
You make the same mistakes with your data gathering, you gather data on how precise this or that is, but then don't cover if we need that level of precision for it to be useful. You have decided that precision is the goal, not whatever it is a good health tracker.
Rob - just came across this video when searching out info on the Whoop strap. At first glance I was skeptical, but after watching the video and the research steps/format you used, I'm VERY impressed! Nicely done! I've subscribed to your channel, and plan to buy some items and I'll use your link! Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьAbout that rather limited EEG, I don't think it is capturing sleep correctly if it only detects 1,2% ReM sleep time. Either that or you should go see a sleep doctor. That's way too little REM sleep (it should be between 20 and 25%)
ОтветитьTo everyone choosing not to play into the subscription model of health tracking, thank you.
You are voting with your dollars for a world where people own their own health data. The contrary is a glacial slippery slope into a world we may someday forget we never wanted. Don't make your grandkids wonder what it must have been like to actually own their own information about something so personal.
Why are we assuming the polar is God here?
ОтветитьOk most Americans arent that dumb, we do know what Celsius is. Its a drink! ;)
ОтветитьThanks! This was a great video. It was the first one of yours I’ve ever watched. You’re awesome!!
ОтветитьWhy no comment on HRV tracking ?
ОтветитьExcellent review. My first review of yours I’ve seen. I personally love the Whoop subscription model along with the subtlety & class of the device.
Ответитьmy device did not work. I want to warn everyone I can that whoop company cheats its customers. Despite warning that you can return the device it is a big scam. Although I am within 30 days to return it, they do not answer my messages, it is impossible to contact them and if they answer you, they are copy-paste messages without providing you with the steps to return the device. I will try to warn as many people as possible of this scam. Be careful! it's really frustrating and sad to see you are being scammed
ОтветитьHi have you tested or reviewed the Strain score or track and how does this compare to a stress tracker?
ОтветитьThis was a good quality review of fitness tracker, you’re awesome taking the time to do it, just on the temperature area every time you want to make a comparison of how good a sensor or detector is you should compare it with something in the same level, is comparing apples with apples, the temperature varies from .5 to 3c on different parts of the body is not the same the skin on the arm than on the armpit, the mouth, forehead or for different holes and cavities in the body 😅. Amazing review ☝🏼
Ответитьabsolutely whooped the americans with the F vs C debate haha LOVE it
ОтветитьI’d love to see APPLE WATCH ULTRA VS WHOOP 4.0. Amazing in depth review.
ОтветитьCould you please review CardioMood? Its the one strap that should compare well against Whoop and its not in any way linked to China. Which, to a certain degree, is becoming more and more an important factor in my decision making. That and the fact it has no subscription model makes it a tough choice. On the other hand it seems user experience with Whoop is way better than CM is at the moment. Would love to see a review and comparison!
ОтветитьIs there an easy way to export all the whoop data?
ОтветитьI’ve had the Whoop for almost 6 weeks now and it’s very interesting. Love the sleep stage tracker … thanks for making this review! ❤
ОтветитьIm fucking pissed. Just got this and it doesn't even work with android 13
ОтветитьThe Whoop 4 sensor damaged my skin… got no response be their hotline… so I canceled the membership.
ОтветитьYou mentioned devices have trouble with outdoor cycling given they shift on the wrist. Did you wear the whoop on your wrist for that test?
ОтветитьCan't watch anymore 😂. Fahrenheit is superior and I'll go to my grave defending it 😪
ОтветитьTesting it at the moment. It doesn't detect my activities and my sleep.... I have to add everything manually... Quiet disappointed
ОтветитьI... I think I love you... seriously though thank you for the science 🙏
Ответить"For Americans who are wondering what this C stands for, it's the first letter of the word 'Correct'." Flawless lol.
ОтветитьYhee... the subscription is a BIG deal braker... fuck that
ОтветитьCurious how wearing in the wrist only compares.
ОтветитьWould love a follow up video on whoops new strength load measuring capabilities announced recently.
ОтветитьMan, how are Apple watches so accurate? The Whoop is highly specialized hardware/software while the Apple watch is a general purpose smart watch!
Ответитьyeah it might be amazing but its a scam. 444 euros for 2 years for what? insanely expensive subscription.
ОтветитьWonder if the position change accuracy of the heart rate reading, just Because wrist placement ultimately lands devices directly ontop of larger blood vessels where as the bicep is a larger area with similar number of blood vessels so less likely to land the device directly atop one - also typically thicker skin/fat layers covering the blood vessels.
ОтветитьGreat review for the Whoop but unbelievable how high the Apple Watch scores for HR. I've stopped using my Apple Watch for sports as it is completely dysfunctional during the first 2-3 minutes of any workout, or acceleration during any workout, being unable to cope with any change in the HR. Utterly worthless.
ОтветитьSmart watches only last a couple of years so the subscription model is less than cost neutral.
Ответитьi just dont understand why anyone would pay 400 for this, and not have a screen... no time keeping, no notifications, no mapping, no GPS, no nothing. and the longer you keep it, the more expensive it becomes lmao.. makes no sense. subscription based models automatically fail in my opinion.
ill keep my garmin, which is 50 bucks more expensive, but its a watch that lasts a month on a charge.. instead of 3-4 days like the whoop
Thanks!
ОтветитьC is for Correct 💯
ОтветитьWhy is he wearing glasses? Its 2023, doesn't he know any science about fixing your eyes?
ОтветитьIs the Polar H10's ECG sensitive enough for calculating HRV?
ОтветитьI wish he measured HRV as he did for other decices
ОтветитьThe guy is dissing on the Americans that Celsius is the CORRECT imperial measurement to use 😂😂😂
Ответить
