It appears the props department used an actual dental anesthetic syringe of some type?. I can't identify the other pieces in the kit as the quick cut shots make it hard to see. Hmmmm...interesting!! Any qualified dentists out there that can make an identification on what they are exactly?!!

Yautja medkit is unique compared to a human medkit. Whereas humans create new ways to stifle pain when administering medicine, the Yautja welcome pain because pain fuels their anger, strength, and adrenaline.

I don’t understand did he cancel all the tools before using the final one. The last one caused him a lot of pain. But it seemed to me that he was skipping one after another maybe because the wound was too serious for him. I don’t know either that or the way he used it was somewhat stylish I guess. No clue 🫤 but still a nice scene.

We realize that most of the predator's technology is pneumatic, even its cloaking device seems to rely on an air-powered device.

With energy weapons I assume the wound would at least be somewhat cauterized more or less. But ballistic weaponry, the Yautja will need to do a lot more work with extracting any fragments, disinfecting, etc

I remember thinking how brutal and primitive the first aid scene appeared, now years later after watching "Prey" it amazing to see that they did upgrade a bit since then. The hunter from Prey simply cauterized the outside wound without actually cleaning or mending, this experienced hunter is at least using some basic surgical skills to treat it.

It's really interesting how the first time we ever see the Predator is when he's at his most vulnerable. Adds layers of depth you wouldn't normally find in a survival/horror monster back then.
