The ancestor of the space shuttle was Mig-105 or BOR-4. There's no doubt the Soviet Union was very inventive and came up with some remarkable ideas, the problem was always in their execution of them they took too many shortcuts

This is amazing!!!! I am so excited that workers at United Launch Alliance in Alabama put their hands on this! What a beautiful design! I cannot wait to see it launch, cruise through space and then do a return landing! I remember the Challenger days and to see this technology come together is something I never dreamed of. My son has his hands on this! I am so excited-go team ULA:)!
