ОтветитьJISHHHHHHHHH "IT'S JUST A NAME MAN"
ОтветитьNice build but - why not just start with a dirt bike or dual purpose model? This bike has a lot of serious limitations that restrict what it can achieve, like: weight, chassis geometry, engine weight/power, suspension travel, ground clearance, etc. Yes - you can “live-with” these constraints- but why do so - when a better platform can be selected? I see this happen all the time - where builders make critical decisions at the start - which put a cap on the potential that the project can reach. Having said all this - the build was well executed and I’m sure gave the builder much joy and utility. And, maybe the Suzuki was all that was possible to acquire. And, importantly, I am not trying to diss his deal - only to get others to think carefully at how early decision points can dramatically determine the performance envelope of the end result. The reason I bring this to the table is I’m a mechanical engineer - and we are forced to think this way from university training and especially in practice where real money is spent and earned. On end - the fabrication was very good as was the filmmaking! A lot of good work and skill went into all aspects of making the movie and the build so kudos on that too. As a suggestion - on the next build - make a video on hunting for the base bike, evaluating the various platform vs design goals and finally making the choice based on criteria- cost vs features. Cheers!

ОтветитьFinally someone understanding an effin' scrambler is meant to ride on dirt! So many dude claiming they're building "scramblers" while they're doing a sorta mix between a bobber and a café racer. Scrambler equals big serrated wheels to ride on roads but ALSO on dirt!
