How to make Fillable Form in Microsoft Word

How do I get it to save the original form and the filled-in form as different documents? In other words, I created the fillable form, but once someone fills it out and saves it as a different file, it changes both the original and the saved. Thank you

Is this form only usable in Word? I tried saving as a pdf but was unable to interact with the form.

Hello the "Rich Text Content Control" does not seem to appear on Mac computers. I was able to add in the Developer option but not the Rich or Plain text option. Can you help?

OMG that was an amazing, easy and concise how-to, and I am sure to be seeing more of your content in the future. I just had one question though. Once the customer/user that is filling things in hits submit, what happens if they forgot or overlooked a box? I mean...IDK anyone who would do such a silly thing...*cough*cough* (me, like every time lol) but do we have to do anything special to get the form to flag this omission and stop it from moving forward until all the boxes are completed? Kevin, I like to create a form for a different purpose. I want to walk around my business to enter a machine/tool inventory, but i want to add the image of the machine/tool. I can do this, but i have to first save the photo. I would like to take the photo image to go with my form as an immediate response. Can you make this happen? Have watched several of your Form videos and have yet to see an answer to my question @KevinStratvert

Although the recipient of my emails was able to fill it in, I was told that it wouldnt send back to me, something about it failed to download. Can you help me further? have I done something wrong?

when i restricted the editing, it still allowed me to make changes - not like how he showed, so how do I make sure others can't change the form? also do i save it as a pdf to send it out? cause when i did this, i could still see the words click here or tap to enter and I could not click in the form fill sections myself.

how do you format a field for electronic signatures...is that just a matter of formatting as an image box?
