I've owned both, and it's almost a toss-up as to which is better. Unbelievable how big both these cars are on the outside, and how small they are on the inside (compared to what they were in the early years).

You never mentioned on the Mustang if it has magneride. Remember you can option a magneride on PP trim. The Mustang could have beaten the Camaro on the road course.

I love Ford technology over the years 32 valves twin Cam's it's awesome 5.0 vs old Chevrolet Camaro V8 same version from the old 350 or 5.7 now it's 6.2 or 6.0 who cares push rods really wow. Plus the way Ford gives luxurious cars and trucks no wonder they sale that most SWT...

I am a camaro guy dont get me wrong but you cant put a 6.2 supercharged vs a 5.0 its a power difference and it would be nice to see a mustang and a camaro close to similar go at it

I've been a Camaro owner for a long time. And in fact I still daily one. And while I wouldn't pick the Mustang GT over an SS (Because i just like the looks of the Camaro better) I am very impressed with how Ford did with the 2015 redesign. Especially FINALLY getting rid of that solid axle. I mean they did it on the 03/04 Cobra so they knew HOW to use one. I'm just surprised it took them so long to roll it into the main line. Honestly you can't go wrong with either car these days. The 5th Gen SS was an excellent car. The only reason I'm not still driving one is I upgraded to the ZL1.

camaros and mustangs are like cats and dogs... they just dont get along. neither do the owners lol

Mustang looks better and has a nicer interior, but the Camaro out performs in overall power band (who wants to rev out a v8 to make power like it's a turbo 4 banger???????), and better around corners. I'm a corner kind of guy, could care less about who can go faster in a straight line at ½ a mile.

Chevy for the win

I have a 2015 GT PP 6-spd and I grew to despise the Perelli PZero tires. They were junk. It was the only thing about the car that wasn't perfect. Switching to summer-only BFG tires make a huge difference, in traction, in every direction. There is your time differences on those tracks. I ran those Willow tracks (mostly Big Willow) and I can estimate at least 1 second difference from tires alone- easily.

Well we all know this war between mustang and camaro will never end . But with that being said I can say honestly I've been a huge mustang fan for ever . but I think it's time for me to realize that when it comes right down to it I love a lot of different muscle starting from the 70s to present day . And I really think I'm going to buy me a camaro this time around . Heck I've had 4 different mustangs . Now I'm ready to go chevy for a little while. .and to heck with what anybody says . I want what makes me happy.

You can throw the mustang sideways and have more fun. Put sport cup 2s on the mustand and it'll be faster also. The host was also kinda lame.

hard to compair a car with a 5l motor to a car with a 6.2 l motor. I was surprised the mustang was faster over a 1/4 mile would have thought the bigger motor would have put out more power to the wheels, another surprise was the 0 to 60 test both cars equal yet the mustang giving up 1.2 l to the camaro. No matter what both cars are still nice both still turn heads
