I suppose kids don't think. But surely everyone would understand how dangerous vaping and smoking is? That's basic knowledge. You wouldn't expect a lung transplant but you would surely think other serious illnesses could result.

I think this will help shed some light to other teens who believe vaping is not dangerous. The problem is most of these kids will not feel or see the affects it is having on their lung/body. The same thing happened with cigarettes years ago. Big tabacco will always find a way to sell something as "not dangerous", get people and kids hooked and then it's already too late the damage has been done.

My neighbour bought a vape pen, from the green shop, an officially licensed vape shop. He started vaping, then he started coughing after inhaling, a few months later he was admitted to hospital after being found unconscious on the floor. It's not a coincidence, this is what vaping does to the body.

He now has to take that medication for the rest of his life. So his immune system doesn't attack his transplanted lungs. People don't think about the consequences before its too late. Glad he's been made an example of, this is what smoking ignorance does to a person. He's been given a second chance. Hope he doesn't waste it.

As always the THC use with acetate e is the culprit....just vaping won't do any big arm or there would be millions of cases like this by now, just common sense really.

My flat mate has a vape stick, he sets the smoke too high, and he's always coughing, after every exhale.
He was admitted to hospital after using his vape stick and suffered a chest infection. Vaping damages the lungs. End of story.

Bullshit. It was proven in multiple courts that all the kids who were hospitalized vaped a bad batch of THC carts. Every single one of them vaped THC. 100% of the cases. That was the common denominator, not ECigs. Those THC carts were made with Vitamin E which caused lung damage. Haven't we all learned anything from the failure of the DARE program? I have copd when I was 15 because I slept in out attic for long I inhaled lot of dust and I been suffering for difficulty in breathing for 4 years , everytime I cough I there's a balls of mucus and spatum🙁 it's affecting my mental health I want to die, I don't have any medicine to take.
