i play franklin the most in gta and its not because hes black imo - its because hes both closer to my age and also even after completing all the missions hes the only one who still has a life to live or seems the less completed out of all the characters. Trever is trever and hes got his business, Michael resolved his family conflict and is now a producer, Franklin is the only one who doesnt have anything to come home to and i keep playing him i think to try and help flesh him out more. Like his ex girlfriend for example, i really wanna get him out and find a new girl and that in itself shows that despite having all the wealth in the world he is still stuck in the past and wealth hasnt solved all his problems. The fact that hes black is purely a coincidence to this.

I never enjoyed playing as trevor, it always made me uncomfortable, especially raping and torturing. It actually made me sick, I just wanted to get through jt so i could play the rest of the story

I actually feel terrible doing bad things in these games, given how detailed the world is. I only kill when I have to, for example, and in the torture mission, I shoot the target as soon as I can so that the torturing stops. I also don’t even like Trevor. I conduct crimes, yes, but only because I’m aware that the characters are criminals and that it’s a video game. This by no means means that Trevor is a mass-murdering terrorist tho
