Dublin. The city I loved since I was a boy and I love now even more because my beloved daughter lives there.
ОтветитьWhen I visited Ireland with a tour group in April 2004 we got to see The Book of Kells at Trinity College. It is the national treasure of Ireland. The Book of Kells is kept in a room that is darkened for preservation purposes. If memory serves me correctly one page of the book is turned each day.
Ответить🇮🇪 very good video 🎥 great sharing
ОтветитьWoW Hermosa Linda very Video 💗💗💗
ОтветитьThank you Rick. We visited Ireland this month and truly enjoyed every minute there. Your videos inspired and informed us. We loved Ireland, its people and natural beauty. Public transportation was efficient, reliable, and cheap. We stayed there for ten days and did not need a car. Galway and Sligo were particularly lovely, but we also liked Dublin. Looking forward to a round two soon. Thank you Irish people. You truly have a heaven on Earth.
Ответитьwhat an amazing presentation ...
ОтветитьGreat information! Thanks 🙂
ОтветитьHappy Centennial - Sláinte! 🍻
ОтветитьLooking forward to my first visit in November!
ОтветитьGood times?? Under colonisation?
ОтветитьI hope I enjoy Ireland. Coming from Italy and Malta it will be a tough comparison. I really enjoy historical cultural aspects of European countries, and I feel much of it has been let go to ruin in Ireland.
ОтветитьI wanna go to Ireland again!!!
ОтветитьWonderful culture and place! Would love to visit there sometime.
ОтветитьWhat a trip! Sir good work. Appreciated.
ОтветитьMy house an yard are decorated with shamrocks today in March 2023

ОтветитьHello 😼❤
ОтветитьAs a non drinker, I was wondering if they serve non alcoholic beverages as well as the beer and whiskey????
ОтветитьSad that Anne and Rick got divorced. They seemed so in love during these Ireland segments.
ОтветитьMy husband and I got engaged on Ireland! It made the trip that more magical! The people, scenery and food were just wonderful! We hope to bring our children back someday to get to know their Irish roots!
ОтветитьEven as a Brit, I find the memorial to where the Easter Rising very moving. Britain very much paid the price for treating Ireland so badly over the years. The wording of a British built memorial on the Antrim Coast road for the Potato Famine is case in point:
"(...) Britannia gave her bounty with her tears and bear this record, though in phrases crude, of England's love and Ireland's gratitude,"
The wording on that controversial memorial to say the least paints a different picture of Irish history. One that whitewashes what actually happened, London showed their "love" for Ireland by doing absolutely nothing to help when the potato crops failed year after year. To make matters worse, they insisted on the Irish exporting other crops that could have eased the worst effects of the lack of potatoes for the population that depended on it (such as grain)
I will save a lot to go and see Ireland!😊
ОтветитьSt. Patrick was not a good man.
ОтветитьCozy relationship with london? Ideas? Really dude?
ОтветитьI just learned that I am mostly southern Irish 🤗
I'm watching your videos to 'tour' Ireland 🌹
16.33 mins - 25/5/18. Saddest day in the History of Ireland 😥
ОтветитьSo, Dublin is Russian town name. Dub means an oak. Dubna near Moscow, Dubno near Kiev.
ОтветитьI Love Rick Steves BUT the recorded period of this program is July 2002 so this now an archive! no loner a documentary!
ОтветитьIt is now 2022 and Claus Scwab and his new world order friends have stopped travel for the unvaxed pure bloods. He says we will have nothing and we will like it. What a pathetic monster to deprive people of seeing Ireland, the homeland of many people. Pox be upon them
ОтветитьBodhran..pronounced bow ,(how now brown cow) rawn. :-)
Ответить⭐⭐⭐
ОтветитьTARA it's kurdish name for girls as well of English and know I see its name of Irish hill 😉
ОтветитьMay all these Irish leaders rest in peace 🕊 .
Ответитьtimes of celtic tiger is gone ...... Ireland will come back to th eMarginal of europe as it once was
Ответить"Emerged as the capital of the only former colony within Europe."
Ireland's former status as a 'colony' has been challenged by several scholars. See the work of economic historian Liam Kennedy to start.
Well done sir!💚Sláinte!
Ответитьthe guy in the bar with guinness and arran jumper was an absolute spoofer
ОтветитьThank you. I love the Irish culture and beauty. I would love to go there. I'm glad Ireland got its independence. Dublin is so beautiful. I don't agree with how the Irish were treated. The Irish Countryside is beautiful in the people are really friendly. I love Irish history at ancient Celtic history
ОтветитьDo you recommend tourists visit Jimmy Fox's

ОтветитьDUBLIN HAVEN FOR IRISH ALCOHOLICS
Ответить"We make good Europeans." Since 1973, Ireland has had its new colonial master, Brussels. How much Irish legislation is from Brussels ? In Germany, it's as high as 84%.
