Ответитьi finnally got it downloaded.
ОтветитьCan’t find pattern
ОтветитьI've just watched your tutorial and the only question I have is about sewing over metal zips .. I'm afraid of breaking needles...should I be?
ОтветитьLove to receive a link to the pattern
ОтветитьHave your ever squared it and boxed the corners?
ОтветитьLove your tea breaks!!! So cute! Thank you!
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьGreat instructions and easy to follow! I made a cute little bag in about 30 minutes.
Ответитьtrying to join facebook page but when i answer questions it has no where to send answers
ОтветитьWas that a plastic zip? Was wondering sewing over it😬
ОтветитьSimply good and clear , thank you
ОтветитьJust love this pattern, will also make great gift, Thank you so much!
ОтветитьWay too many cute purses!
ОтветитьHey come up with one to hold ball crochet and hook with grommet for thread to come through.
ОтветитьGreat detailed tutorial. Thank you so much for clear precise directions. Wow.
ОтветитьThank you, love your style and directions! New subscriber now!
ОтветитьCan you recommend a zip and webbing supplier that isn’t thousands of miles away , preferably UK based . Shipping rates from Zipper Valley who are based in Canada are horrendous . Thanks
ОтветитьI need some of the peacock fabric/vinyl. I love that little bag!! Beautiful work!!! Thank you
ОтветитьI just finished my first bum bag and I love it! It’s going to be a gift for someone. I increased the size of the belt holder to 7 x 2-1/2 inches so that I could slide an adjustable 1 inch webbing belt for someone and I don’t know what waist size they would be. Could you please recommend the length that would be ample enough for anyone? I did see your video on how to make an adjustable webbing belt and that was very helpful Diane. Thank you! ❤
ОтветитьCould I use 4 pieces of fusible fleece for the interfacing?
ОтветитьOh my goodness… that finished edge inside is what I’ve been looking for! Thank you! Making one of these for vending in a couple days… it’s going to hold my phone and money to make change… great project! Thank you!
ОтветитьI had not thought of making just the bag with out the belt. Nice idea
ОтветитьI had to make 10 personalized zipper pouches & I hated that they had a lining but the edges were raw inside. This video has been a life saver for me! I've watched it 8 or 9 times now. I'm not doing a bum bag but the concept is the same. I'd like to share but I don't have facebook. Thanks so much for this great tutorial though 🥰
ОтветитьThank you so much for this tutorial - very clear and easy to follow. I've just completed my first effort and used a thin vinyl for the outside and cotton for the lining. I seem to be pretty hopeless at cutting out accurately and make some daft mistakes, but I'm really quite pleased with my effort. I did find getting the top corners to turn out neatly pretty impossible - are there any clever tricks for doing this when using vinyl especially?
ОтветитьI do travel sketching and this is the perfect bag for carrying all of the essentials! Love to see that there's a place for cells as well. Can be put in a bag, worn over the shoulder, packed in luggage, kept in the glove box ... perfect bag. Thanks for sharing!!!
ОтветитьWe learned back in 2002 when we visited Ireland that "fanny pack" would have made folks giggle had we called it that. Apparently, that's the same in the UK ;D
ОтветитьHow do you sew over your zipper without breaking your needle?
ОтветитьThank you for a great tutorial ❤️🙏
ОтветитьThanks Diane,
ОтветитьGreat tutorial, thank you. I want to make this for a lady that uses a walker or cane when she’s walking. A regular purse is way to heavy and bulky for her.
ОтветитьAmei❤
ОтветитьPerfect little bum bag to make just for running, going to the park, and the gym. I love how you applied 2nd lining piece to avoid RAW edges in the inside of the bag👍🏽! Thanks for sharing🥰.
ОтветитьBeautiful!!!!! I liked the nice surprise at the back for slipping the belt through! Genius!!! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьMy first Ogg Spencer bag and l am sure their will be more. Love it!
ОтветитьYou are delightful to watch and listen to! Thank you so much for this tutorial😄
ОтветитьLove this design as it is more compact than the usual fanny pack out there. Any ideas on boxing the bottom corners? Put my thinking cap on but can't figure it out with the lining.. Unlined .... no problem. Many thanks for the work you do and the generosity in sharing. Cheers.
ОтветитьCan I ask what size you printed the little pouch at as really cute
Ответитьare you sewing over a metal zipper?
ОтветитьA Tunnock caramel wafer for a wee snack 😁...youre needin a Teacake or a Caramel yummy log for a change.
Anyhoo, great wee video and bummity bum bag lol.x
Hi Diane 👋
Hoe you are doing well! I have to tell you , I love this “ bum” bag ! I have watched this video so often to ramp up my courage to make it, would you know I am afraid of zippers ? Hahahahaha. I used your tip about basting in zipper and listen attentively to everything you said cause I know you’re leaving us gems to learn. I am a novice so …I started with face mask in 2020 and I got the sewing bug ….I quite enjoyed creating something.
I made my first bum bag and showed my children , would you like one , all their hands went UP ! LOL .
So I made two more and boy oh boy ..the 3rd one looked soooo professionally made ! I added a card slot to the lining .
I was nervous ….I searched for a tutorial, did it and what a great addition to the bag. My son loves it and can’t wait to use it , I told him you have to wait , I have to make an adjustable webbing strap ( another thing to learn , but I am excited to learn ! ).
He was so impressed , he said I can do this as a side gig 😄😄 . I said no , I want to make these without the pressure. Only for very special people.
Now my husband saw them and he was like wow 🤩 …can he have one ?
Diane , THANK YOU a FUN and great tutorial… you made me look so professional. You talking me through this was fantastic ! I felt I had my own private teacher …😊 . I will be making 3 more and I suspect once my siblings see this, I would be getting more requests.
BTW, that caramel wafer snack brought back all my childhood memories! My dad owned a small shop in the country and he sold these . So I went searching grocery stores for it …we have them in the Asian stores since the British had heavy influence in Hong Kong. I bought quite a few bars as in covid things are in short supply. I am ready for my snack treat as I power through 3 more bags …..hahahaha.
I love your pattern and watching you make it was a delight! You made it look so easy and I loved how you are explain every detail! I cannot wait to make one myself. Thank you so so much for sharing it!!
ОтветитьI love it ❤️💋
ОтветитьI ride horses and I love to take long dog walks. This will be perfect for my phone, keys, treats etc. My current one is too bulky and doesn't let me squat comfortably
ОтветитьThank you so much for this tutorial!!! i will be making this bag for my daughter and I to have for our upcoming Disney trip!!
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your video and, as a (complete and utter) beginner I found it very helpful. I learned more in 30 mins of your video than the rest of the day spent scratching around the internet.
And you have a good sense of humour.....cleaning pixies! Mine seem to have desterted me too, unfortunately.
I have just two questions I hope you won't mind me asking please....
1 - You are using the H640 fleece, but you also mention you are using an "interface" (as well) on to both layers of material. What is the interface you've chosen and why is it needed (when you already have the fleece)? Is it important? (sorry that's 2 questions really)
These are all completely new concepts for me.
2 - If I wanted to make the bag as you have just shown it but with the extra feature of a division panel down the centre, dividing the bag in half length-ways (bag would be two compartments inside) would that be a lot more complicated? I can't see how I would be able to do the inside out bit with a compartment included, is there a technique for that (?)
Thanks for any help :)
Nice bag, but to much words for me, sorry!😆
Ответить❤❤❤Lovly, Awsome
ОтветитьYou are entertaining. Also easy to follow directions while watching this video.
ОтветитьI just heard you say your cleaning pixies will take care of the scraps? Where do you find those? I needs several!!!
