Thanks afganblooms for uploading Irsad Khan
He is majestic
Is it the only bass instrument in shastriya sangeet??
ОтветитьTraditional Classical Indian music is very meditative, this one is showing a lot of good skills but lack of calmness and meditative mode. A kind of show off! Better play Rock music!
ОтветитьUnbelievable Chandrakauns, majesty of Raag
ОтветитьThe best
Ответитьwhere's the tanpura???

ОтветитьKhan Saab, this is AWESOME. But, how about a Harikos on Surbahar soon ?
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me if there are any surbahar recordings available of Annapurna Devi?
ОтветитьHow can he be the king of surbahar when Devi Annapurna Jee is with us just go and hear her and then you will get the actual meaning of kingship in any music
ОтветитьHow can someone from non-Maihar gharana become a surbahar "king" ?
ОтветитьYes! WOW!!!
ОтветитьLet traditionalists keep tradition, let explorers explore, This is FANTASTIC!

ОтветитьWork with a sound shaking, as at his legendary father.
Ответитьhe seems quite happy with his raga and has a nice smile to show his accomplishment.
ОтветитьUndoubtely, his technical skills are superb; nevertheless, playing the surbahar like a "low-tuned" sitar just doesn't cut it for me. The instrument is intended to sing more in a dhrupad anga...
The rendition of the rag is fantastic until the ego kicks in and Steve Vai takes over the playing.
Still, to each their own, right?
Wonderful 😌
ОтветитьWhat a rare treat!!! Beautiful & a mesmerizing Chandrakauns played by the greatest Ustad of our times.
ОтветитьHe is better tha jimie hendricks
ОтветитьIf Jimi Hendrix was from India...
ОтветитьSurbahar played like a sitar. Virtuosic but I am sure you would balk if cello was played like a violin! I feel there is an acute lack of healthy criticism in Indian classical music.
ОтветитьA Great artist of the century....
ОтветитьWah! Beautiful
Ответитьmashaala mashaala
