Some seriously bad information in this video! Antibiotics DO NOT include antiviral substances like you implied. Antibiotics only are effective against bacteria, antivirals can be given for viral pneumonia but they have limited efficacy.

My sister is 24 yrs old she is suffering from pneumonia from past 4 days 90% of her lungs are infected she is on ventilator but its not working so doctors kept her on the upside down position (laid on stomach) but still meds are not working for her . I hope she gets well soon. 😢

My dad just passed away last night from complications of pneumonia. Among a lot of other stuff that happened over the last month. Worst part is he got it twice. Im 10 and I survived pneumonia when I was 5 and the surprising thing is I dont even have asthma or any chronic diseases.

In March of last year, I experienced pneumonia, and before that, I used to have a beautiful singing voice. However, my throat hasn't been the same since, and I constantly feel the need to clear it. The low notes that used to come effortlessly now sound rough, like a car engine struggling to start. It was such a severe experience that I felt like I was on the verge of death. I truly hope I never have to go through that again. This happened two months after contracting COVID-19, which I caught from my daughter, who had acquired it at school.

My sister was never sick as a child, then got the flu which developed into pneumonia after 5 days, she passed away within a week at 14 (2013).

My grandma passed away due to this last Friday. She initially complained pain in her stomach but didn’t mention the shortness of breath. We changed three local physicians until situation got worsen. Eventually we admitted to nearest hospital where she could survive only two days because it was already too late. Later found out she had pneumonia and had difficulty breathing in the last day. Im so angry by the inability of three physicians who couldn’t detect the symptoms 😡

I had pneumonia and was in the hospital 15 days … I lost 25 pounds and it took months for a full recovery.. I almost died. The cough was bad but my breathing was horrible I thought I could hear the moisture when I breathed out.

My father had a stroke in 2019 now he is dianosed aspiration penomonia a get a treatment of injections how is it cureable?

I am with pneumonia for the 4 time in my life, one of those i have been hospitalised for 2weeks bit nobody in the hospital forbid me from smoking, today im almoat 50 years and i was thinking in mu grandfather who passed way with pneumonia he catched in the hospital, the worst you can get because they are antibiotic resistant bacterias , he had been there just for exames and become death just because he sleept in the hospital and not in his home:((

Pneumonia has been a horrifying journey. Had it back when I was 9 and I was hospitalized for around 3 months. At the time I was so scared of dying, seeing all my relatives and friends crying beside my bed. Every day I struggle to even sleep and I could only watch as the clock ticks away from 1 am, 2 am, 3 am... I relentlessly cough and always have the urge to throw up just because the coughing was too intense. Had to take medications almost every few hours and even some injections. I couldn't express how proud I am of myself to have vanquished such an illness and I hope everyone who currently has pneumonia gets well soon and have a nice day. I swear you would never want to have it.

I have had pneumonia for 18 years. It wasn’t taken seriously unfortunately. And it turns out that I was taken to the hospital this last weekend because of serious symptoms. They discovered the problem there and there. I finally have antibiotics and strong painkillers prescribed.

For academic purposes, what exactly does it take other than lack of access of healthcare to die from pneumonia? 👀

It almost killed me when I was 4. When it became bad, I couldn’t breathe and my lips turned blue. I was rushed to the hospital and into the OR. I am not sure what happened after that but alhamduillah i survived.

I'm having abdominal tb along with necrotising pneumonia I'm taking my tb medication and I'm totally fine now but I'm afraid as I'm still not totally normal 😭 Please pray for me 🙌
