I have been writing, to release it,make it something useful for others means I have to let goof the lies told to me..that I am arrogant bc I went for it and got out of my old life..they benefited and followed. So now towards end of life the cruelty they delivered in moment of family trauma..set me back, way back.. but grew again beyond them. It is my punchline.. and I hope to deliver soon. thank you young man.

Why does it end off like a sermon? This is a comedy, not a sermon!! Tired of ppl proselytizing every chance they get.. The speech doesn’t have much substance. We know about the chasing of dreams and whatever.. We want to hear something funny!!!

My dad sent me this right before he passed away this last Saturday in the early am. He hid the fact he was sick from everyone, me his son, his brothers, his father, his best friends. It makes this Ted talk even more bittersweet as I watch it after putting hiis body to rest.h

I'm impressed! I expected some laughs, but got some unexpected life lessons, too!

Brilliant...

Michael is so much more than "A Comedian...." He has the heart of Jesus..... the heart of a precious, humble teacher........ His whole bit about "everyone having a setup.... and a punchline" is completely true and quite profound........ He wants his audience to really "think" and process what he's been communicating...... just as Jesus did....:). Ted Schempp, Nashville

I live in a country where they don't take and send a picture when you run a red light. New information for me too! I got the joke after he explained why some prisoners didn't get it!
