I play this very quietly on my phone at work, a few of my coworkers hear it and are fascinated by it. I had a coworker who was born and raised in Japan, he smiled at me when hearing it and said “I’m glad people in the west can appreciate these little bits of our popular culture.”

folks out there saying that the lyrics are depresing but i desagree! its good to teach kids that altrough life is complicaded and rough you can stil find your happiness and bing joy to others! this and the doraemon ops (old and new) cheer me up (altrough im only a doraemon fan but i wish i could find apanman subed) when i went to liberdade in são paulo i almost brough an anpanman bag. it was so cute

Six years ago, I attempted suicide and ended up three months in hospital, with a few permanent serious injuries. This song un ironically helped me so much in those times. Usually songs about suicide and persevering have a sad sound, making you feel pity for the person or yourself. This instead made me happy that I was still here, and pushed me, convincing me i had chances and that I could be happy, even though my hopes my bleak at the time. Yes, the scar in my heart still hurts, but I realized how great it is to live.

This may be for little kids but this is a banger
