Good morning sir,
I have a question that I believe you may know.
I’m shooting 0.25 inches at 100yards with a 6.5 Creedmoor. My Kestrel is saying 1.16 MIL elevation at 300 yards however my dead center is 1.6 MILs and getting 2 inch groups at 300.
The question is, what is the best way to true this? MV or BC? Axial Form Factor will not allow for this correction at this distance.

Have you ever encountered problems with the calculations?… I have the Applied Ballistics Mobile app on my iPhone and unfortunately… it has been fraught with computational errors. The app was choking on negative density altitudes… I informed AB and they acknowledged but it took them months to issue an update. Now the new version is producing very questionable solutions with less drop than expected.

Super helpful video! Saved me a few hundred bucks as I no longer think I need the additional features of the Elite.

Im thinking about the ruger 5700 it has the factory bullet listed downloaded in the unit. My question is can i input my reloads instead of one of their factory loads ? Thanks.

Hello I was looking at the video, amazing explanaition by the way have you check on the software upfrade option on the kestrel 5700 to convert it in to the elite? its only 220.00, so I wounder what is it that you dont get by doing the upgrade since you still come up 100.00 shy of the price of the kestrel elite?

Excellent video, much appreciated for the time you spent going into all this detail. I think the ability to have 30 gun profiles alone is worth it to me for the elite, the rest of the extras are just a bonus. The range card and multiple targets is pretty nice too.
