I'm repairing the attic on my 80 yr old Virginia dacha.. with power tools.. and after a month, I'm totally exhausted. I can't imagine the time and energy.. and skill.. required to do these projects.

I'm surprised he didn't make a mattress/pillow from all the dried grass around. Sleeping on that bed, however cleverly made, could NOT have been comfortable ... that's assuming he actually slept there, which I doubt.
