The Fallout show is so good

the Ghoul knows the weak spot because he was a marine and it seems the weak spot of the t45 is well known by people who used it and t60 is basically t45 on steroids. but t60 is not the best power armor, in lore t51 offers the best protection and x01 is the most advanced but is very rare because it was a prototype prewar and then the enclave developed it further

The kid in the fridge has to be a reference, to the kid ghoul in the fridge from Fallout 4.

the trans thing was unnecessary

I remember watching the scene where they release the ghouls and thinking it so weird that they don't even run from the life threatening situation they put themselves in. Then I realized, "Oh, they're just Bethesda NPC's!"

This whole video is some guy repeating, member ah member, member yes yeass member i remember. This show sucked i only ever laughed at the show. well and technically this video. I feel like you amused yourself more than the show amused it audiences.

The whole season i kept saying the ghoul guy was like the damn grim reaper, and then in the last episode he says "well, are you ready to meet your makers?"

Remember the influx of people playing fallout for the first time because of this show? I mean it's a good thing but idk felt like a bunch of gamers that don't like games just the show and that is the only reason why they first heard of the game.

I think it would make more sense if the ghoul was just rare and didn't turn feral for some reason as opposed to adding a cure to the lore

It's a good way to write a female lead protagonist. Lucy is like Jessica Day from New Girl TV show put in FallOut world.

Doom is a cult classic bro! The new one is awful, but looking back the one with the Rock and Karl Urban really wasn't that bad. It was entertaining enough even if it's a dumb movie. It's got zero wokeness in it, so that automatically gives it 100 points lol, which applies to any movies. Also the original Resident Evil wasn't bad.

It seems like there was a failure of people in this planet’s future. The diverse insert was around, so it looks like things didn’t work out on eliminating some groups. Had they done things right (before the atomic bombs), there wouldn’t have been a person to steal the power armor from Michael Rapaport. I mean if we can create sickle cell specifically for that reason, why can’t we make more effective diseases that do the same thing. Also why do you not like Rapaport because he finally talked shit on the awful communist left? Also it looks like they that person did get burnt to a crisp…however somehow not injured!

Also SOME ended up liking it not all of them. There were some wrong GOOD channels. YellowFlash unfortunately I believe thought it was okay. Reaper definitely did not like it, and rightfully so he made a great video about how awful it was. But ya I don’t think critical drinker liked it, or Ryan Kinnel. I’m sure most of us go out of our way to avoid anyone with blue or purple hair, because it’s easier that way. If you don’t you’ll run into them trying to correct you on things that aren’t false to begin with but only in their head. Also we avoid people that are androgynous or we know are confused. It’s not “avoidant -phobia” it’s called choosing not to interact with people that we don’t want to because we will never ever agree with be false beliefs in objectively true biology/reality. Can’t offend a person with delusions if you don’t go near them or talk to them.

The show was like an 8/10 on the woke scale and the entire storyline was contrived bullshit.

Although I love the show I do hate what happen to the NCR. I hope it will be elaborated on further on why they fell. It just doesn't make sense to me how one city got nuked and they fell. They were just to large and organised for that to make sense to me.

Thaddeus was not Maximus friend, he was his bully from the Brotherhood camp. When Maximus is first introduced he’s being beaten and bullied, Thaddeus is one of them.

Lucy asks Maximus the awkward question because they are both in a testing chamber being drugged. This is shown when the camera pans up to the sign over the door.

I liked the show a lot. Walter goggins made me power through the few complaints I had early on.

The set/costume/graphic designers definitely did a great job to keep the show authentic to the game series.

I did overall like the writing but a few things did bother me a lot early. How incredibly naive maximus and Lucy were annoyed me more than they had an endearing effect. The turbo virgin thing you called out was one of those. I didn't find them funny at all and thought it just made me look down on the characters and made maximus much less believable to me. Pointing at another thing you mentioned, one of the opening scenes in the show shows a dude in the barracks jerking it to a nudie magazine. Maximus has definitely been exposed to those things before and acting as he hadn't was jarring to me. In the pursuit of comedy/silliness they made the characters infinitely dumb in some scenarios.

Some writing was great and some not so much. But all in all the show is very good and my complaints did fade as I grew to like the characters despite some minor things I felt were a bit too stupid to be believable.

I definitely think the show was a 9/10. It paid very close attention to detail and was able to captivate the player fan base and new people who have never played the Fallout franchise. It’s damn near perfect in my opinion.

Fallout 4 setting is Boston, Massachusetts but there is a mod for fallout 4 called Fallout London

You can see the care and respect the writers had for the source material, and I tip my hat to them. I enjoy it more when the series is created with passion. At the same time, this series has more plot holes and contrivances and a cheese with a lot of holes. Mediocre writing.

I think Canon lore will say the courier killed Mr house. And the ncr took over. But when shady sands fell. The ncr had to retreat. And without Mr house or the ncr running new vegas. It just became abandoned. But with the power on. It's going to attract alot of attention from many groups who see the opportunity of reclaiming its former glory.

My husband loves fallout games, ive never played a second or paid attention when he plays. We both loved the show equally for different reasons 😂 i think i liked it more than him, but it was just because i had no preconceived expections and i love walter goggins ( my husband didnt know who he is)

I love this video, and I love that you're a Fallout fan. I've got a few things to correct and/or clarify in good fun though. Heads up this is a LONG comment and has been edited several times.

It's not just about fan service, it's about making practical use of the fan service. A good example? Showing a stimpak vs someone using a stimpak. It's a small difference but it's what makes the show, is the practical use of these references. The show doesn't really STAR a trans character either, they show them maybe three times in the entire season. And Iguana meat is implied to be human, not dog. The city Lucy encounters early on isn't Diamond City. DC is in Massachusetts and Lucy is in California if I'm not mistaken. Yeah I'd imagine Coop stinks he's a ghoul lol regarding the raiders punching Maximus into his power armor: they're raiders, and while they know what power armor is, they definitely don't know how it works mechanically the way a Brotherhood member would. I wouldn't consider it strange to harvest organs from ghouls, even feral, because their organs basically regenerate and heal infinitely, to the point of natural immortality. It makes sense they would fetch a high price. Regarding Coops cure, that actually might be explainable depending on who you ask. The Cabot House quest in Fallout 4 introduces the Mysterious Serum, which removes a base 36,000 rads, and stops aging.

I mean....they only put the trans character in there to appease a certain part of the audience. It doesn't sound like it adds to the story. If the character wasn't trans, I'm sure it would be the same story. I think that's why people are annoyed with these add-ins.
