I love how a cognito-hazard in this setting could be a reflection of the pernicious nature of warp spellcraft… but it’s equally possible. It just might be a nuanced historical document and to the imperium that’s just as bad.

After Chondax and the supposed Ghaslakh menace, the Imperium would ignore Orkoid threats until the War of the Beast. That may mean that, in a way, Horus was responsible for the rise of the Beast, since his deceptions led the Imperium to not take Orkoid threats seriously. Sort of a, "Boy who cried Ork" situation.

Absolutely love anything to do with the Khan. This is going to be an awesome series.

Jaghatti Khan and the White Scars are my favorite primarch/ legion. The white scars fought throughout the whole Heresy, the only full legion left standing between Horus and Terra, and when things came to a head the Warhawk kept his promise and returned to stand on the wall. The Siege of Terra is largely the Imperial Fist and Blood Angel show, and for good reason, but i just love how the White scars were also there, not due to some dark fate or because their whole purpose was to stand on the wall, they were there because they said they would be, and if they weren't mortarion would have crushed the spirits of the defenders well before the final battle. Even in 40k I love their characterization as the Laughing Killers, choosing to face the darkness not with grim resolve or maniacal fury, but with a smile, savoring the joy of life as they fight to preserve it.
