Woke up ecstatic to watch this looking forwsrd to the 90s even more finished the 70s yesterday . I have a lot of time on my hands seems likr you do too thanks for doing these ! Already locked andnloaded for your video drop today as well. Thanks for keeping the sweetest of sciences interesting for a new generation . You do good work lad
ОтветитьI can't wait till the 1950s timeline comes out.
I hope you make more of these.
Man I was born in 2000 and I am a big fan of heavyweight division but never had a chance to see guys like Muhamed ali, Frazier, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson in action. Your documentaries really helped me to learn a lot about history of this division and some fighters I knew not much about. Huge respect for the hard work bro!
Btw if you could make some shorter timeline of best boxers before 1970’s that would be cool
Another Masterpiece these are too well put together it couldn’t be more perfect.
ОтветитьSimply awesome 👌🏼
ОтветитьMan this is tremendous. Just crossing fingers for 80’s middleweights etc
ОтветитьThis is am outstanding video
Ответить🐐
ОтветитьThis is a MASTERPIECE
Thank you 🥊
Think you could’ve copied Rummy’s corner anymore? It’s almost word for word you use from his videos
ОтветитьTyson at 22 was at his absoloute peak ...Then Due to indiscipline the decline crept in ..it was hell of a ride though .
ОтветитьI didnt like larry holmes only really saw when he beat ali. But after watching this video and the 70s one you made i like larry holmes now hes the man 🔥
ОтветитьWe lost both Dempsey and Louis in the 80's. Other legends not heavyweights were Micky Walker, SRR and Henry Armstrong.
ОтветитьRaging Bull was a story about domestic violence, drunkenness and a loser overall. Just like unAmerican Robert Deniro. Immortal movie?
You produce interesting shows but have no soul-congrats and unsubscribed sir ...
Hey whats your discord man? I just got it and idk how to use it 😂 wanted to ask about Gerry Cooney as he looks like he couldve been a special talent
ОтветитьWhat’s the music at the beginning of the background part?
ОтветитьGreat Documentary work!
ОтветитьAmazing video
ОтветитьI love this video, and this channel in general. I’ve always been interested in boxing, and the history of boxing. You did a great job summarizing it, the 80’s is a era i didn’t really knew about other then the basics about Larry Holmes being a dominant champion and the rise of Tyson. I really thank you with this video! I haven’t finished the video yet but it’s well put together, I have one question. What’s your top 5 boxers of the 80’s?
ОтветитьI just watched footage of Larry Holmes dropkick, bro flew through the air, forget boxing he can be the new WWE champion 💀
ОтветитьGreat video and channel!!!
ОтветитьOne last video before bed
The video:
Would've been a good video. But no way can I listen to this guy drone on for four hours...
ОтветитьYour choices of "Upset of the Year" are the splash of humor in this great series. If Spinks had beat Tyson, THAT would have been an enormous upset. Tyson was a 4-1 favorite, and most people thought he would knock Spinks out.
ОтветитьTyson didn't become the youngest heavyweight champion of all time, just the youngest to win the belt. He wasn't champion until he beat Spinks, the man who beat the man who beat the man. And I couldn't care less if Don King gave Tyson a crown and a scepter and Ali was there to congratulate Tyson after he beat Tucker- all he did was unify belts; he didn't win the title. Not until he beat Spinks.
ОтветитьThis video is AWESOME 💯
ОтветитьLarry Holmes drop kick was the funniest thing I've seen in prefight history
ОтветитьCruiserweight is the Larry Holmes of boxing weight classes; seriously underrated.
ОтветитьThank you for a great trip down memory lane as the 1980s was my decade of getting into boxing as a teenager. I remember seeing most of these fights here in the UK on free TV. So many great fights and so many champions. My first super fight that I watched on TV was the Holmes v Cooney fight and I was hooked from then. My man was Larry Holmes. Great video and very classy how you've put it together. Keep the good work going.
ОтветитьI like boxing but this is a little ridiculous, four and a half hours?
ОтветитьThe kevin rooney tyson ! GOAT
ОтветитьWhat do you it was a good birthday for your dad. Is your father Pinklon Thomas, or is it just a coincidence
ОтветитьThis turd's obsession with Rocky is whack!
ОтветитьThe 80s might have been a lost generation of heavyweights, but it was a golden age for welterweights and middleweights
ОтветитьLarry Holmes may be most underrated athlete ever! IMO prime Holmes is better than 70’s Ali. Pre exile Ali was better but after that I’d pick Larry.
ОтветитьYou should have a black man that knows boxing history narrate. He should be able to correctly pronounce all the names. What does Rocky & Jake LaMotta have to do with 1980 heavy-weights? One more thing. I'm a die-hard Larry Holmes fan. Other than your narrattor l've never heard anybody call him " the big black cloud".
ОтветитьThis was a great video much respect 🥊
ОтветитьAmazing job!!! Keep it up!
ОтветитьExcellent work. This answers allot of questions in my mind about the Heavyweight mess of the 80's!
ОтветитьMike Tyson quotes are “ legendary” “ get a .357 magnum” ?
ОтветитьI've said that exact thing that Rocky 3 predicted Mike Tyson. The similarities are mind blowing. Rocky 3 = Best Rocky btw.
ОтветитьThat noise drives me crazy..everything else is good..will not subscribe
ОтветитьEverybody got a plan until their head gets blasted into the stratosphere.
ОтветитьThank you for this great documentary. And especially for giving Holmes his due. And clarifying the "avenge of Ali" by Tyson. It wasn't against Holmes, it was against Berbick. Larry actually made Ali a favor and gave him his last big payday, which Ali desperately needed. Heck, if not for that glove caught in the ropes, well, we'll never know, I don't think that Larry could defeat Tyson, but going the distance? Perhaps. Larry's recuperative powers were insane, if you didn't finish him in the very same round you hurt him, in the next you'll have to start all over again. What a champion he was, and what a man he is. Always honest, always class act. Hat's off Larry.
ОтветитьHow do you not have more subs?
