ever wanted to know exactly how evil you can get in biotech with mods? ill put it like this in my long play world i have a pawn thats a baseliner and i made a copy of her then the original i modified to have the absolute worse research along with a few other things now shes already a clone first off secondly violence disabled added standard body slow learner grayless hair elongated fingers poor animals and plants awful construction stong medical tho with a few mod added resists i'm gonna lock her and her pregnant clone i hacked the legs off of in the research room that doubles as my vat farm thats currently growing 4 kids to adulthood so they can wear some modded armor and get 4 seperate genomes ready for the kids in the armor probably something hussar based load em up with go juice and yayo and because i have luciferium expanded and a huge tank resource of red sludge luciferium and swords and maces and between base raids throw em all into cryto storage take advantage of mod used to hack limbs off the clone and add a way to drop the group via emp grenades and of course go full bionics on all 4 of them talking knee spikes and scyther blades synthblood electroskin i may not use psycasts expanded but i got "a rim of magic"go after a few of the tribal factions aka cannibals and impids using 3 different srts skip ships to send them there and come back by cause i added 1 extra passenger and 100kg to the skips allowance to launch at the cost of a little more chemfuel Rimworld! Vat Super Soldiers powered by networked + advanced bionics "What Could possibly go wrong oh and the kid going live birth is going as a sanguaphage priest for heal + Advanced Heal + Circle heal XD Operation Destroy the Tribals as a tribal 👍

Is there any Biotech mods that remove the Metabolism penalties for good genes? like straight up editting them out so i could literally make a powerful Alucard or whatever with neversleeping, speed boost, yadda yadda.. I don't want a 1000% hungry vampire when i pile up all the good genetics.

It's not exactly intuitive, and considering there's SO much to do, some ins and outs of it would be nice for those of us who enjoy being God of the Rim.

I also Recommend Altered Carbon becouse it expands upon biotech a lot and a form of immortality on the rim is always welcome for your favorite pawn.

Alot of this is just overkill and yes indeed do break the game. And definitely huge hell no to Vanilla Expanded. Maybe the stuff like Star Wars and that last faction might make for an interesting playthrough in addition to the Royalty content. But really Vanilla is the best way to play this maybe use Prep Carefully since this game still doesn't have character creation. And zero research for actual way to start from scratch with nothing even no research. But really no other mod or even qol type mod that improves interface is really worth it. Base game interface and everything is more than good enough to not need to be modded. Vanilla is just much better.

Biotech cloning is also pretty cool, making an entire army of clones from star wars just with this one mod

Another fun one is the Service Mechanoids Raids. It puts all the little mechs like the agrihand into the raid pool. It would probably also pair nicely with the one that lets you res enemy mechs as your own.
