ОтветитьInteresting points. Wonder if Oppenheimer was socially awkward? He sure spend enough time and energy making a not-so-artistic bomb.
As Foucault and smart people have noted, anybody can find Otherness in anybody.
Thus, all humans have the ability of becoming socially awkward as much as socially aware. This insight could be elaborated upon.
I recommend reading the good Jewish background thinker, Kohlberg, and the intricate Muslim, Ibn Tufayl, from whom Locke and Rousseau took much inspiration.
If we could elaborate on this key issue, we could prevent further violence and bloodshed in the global community, while other socially awkward types are discovering their own souls—having been “dead” while being alive.
I notice I feel socially awkward in more "adulting" situations. Teams calls and work meetings especially. I feel like a child sitting at the grown up table. I feel like I don't belong. No one treats me that way. it's something inside of myself.
Ответить1.- My complete diregard for the human condition of being...
2.- dunno
Yeah, fuck psychiatry @ these days (all days?). Completely clueless of the human condition. Doing so much harm every day.
ОтветитьI’m awkward when I’m alone too… I think I’m just awkward with life in general 🤷♀️
ОтветитьSometimes it’s the other person or group because they don’t know how to be receptive. And you’re left there like wth I was just trying to ease into a conversation and make the vibe light, if you don’t do your share, I can’t drag you. So I politely bounce. 😂
ОтветитьI feel what helps to lesson the awkwardness, is if you're going to a new place or establishment, look it up and find pictures. Familiarize yourself with them and imagine being there, while you're in a place where you feel most secure and calm.
ОтветитьOr intellectual disability with hpd, npd. but not ASD.
ОтветитьHi Dr. Daniel! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Springtime~ 🤗
ОтветитьThanks for all your videos Dr Fox! I love your content and I really appreciate you.
Ответитьfelt it my entire life, part of BPD definitely and probably C-PTSD
ОтветитьThis was a particularly timely short for me Dr. Fox. 😁
ОтветитьI'm sociable with the right people, it's too easy to blame ourselves when it could be others issues. For whatever reason. It comes down to our core belief. Love yourself and be proud ❤ ( unless you're an actual arsehole 😂)
ОтветитьI don't feel awkward. I feel perfectly comfortable. I don't realize something is wrong until someone throws it in my face. I'm just trying to live a life that i feel comfortable with. What's wrong with that?
ОтветитьWhat a sunny day it is today, and at this point I feel more socially awkward with people I already know. The people I don’t know I can strike up a conversation no problem, why? Because the people I know have expectations of me, and I think I won’t be able to live up to them. Thanks Dr. Fox, for bringing out that insight in me! 😊
ОтветитьTips for lack of tact and rude tone when I physically don't feel well? I have quiet bpd, but it's not so quiet and more destructive when I'm not feeling well lol.
