i love carp fishing never fished for them on purpose my whole life. now i mostly target carp and catfish they are the best fighting fish

Come on guys, fishing for powerful fish with 4lb line and treble hooks whilst they are spawning isn't really respecting your quarry is it? I know that in the USA carp are seen as a "trash" fish because they are not good eating and some species do damage, but do they deserve to be treated so badly because of their species? Why not use your channel to set an example?

Ok. Carp can be fun to catch, but they are also detrimental to most bodies of water. They root around and pull up plants, and dirty the water. In fact, most states allow you to bow hunt, spear, and dispatch of these pretty much any way you want. In Wisconsin and northern Illinois, I can always remember the stench, of carp people caught and threw in the weeds. Don’t lose any sleep, about leaving a few hooks in these trash fish.

Nice catches guys, but, you need to put a correct line in your windlass. Maybe start to use flourcarbon leader because ure fishing in structures. Its not nice to leave the fishes with hooks and lines....take care!

I remember the days when the rats would run across the water on the garbage and the only thing you could catch from the river was sickness.. Hell, I even remember a couple of time the river caught fire... But I left chi town many many years ago.. I am glad to see she has survived to get a bit better.. Me? I am old and deteriorating myself.. thanks the view of the old city..
