Thank you so much for having me, you wonderful people!
ОтветитьThe whole tone scale (mysterious) sounds like Mister Rogers Neighborhood to me.
ОтветитьThe disruption one is literally just me playing w my little brother
Ответить“Jacobian”. Yep. This is a thing now. 💯
Ответитьinterpretation of tier 3:
uncertain hope, reassurance, regular comfortable pattern, peace
discomfort, confusion of what is inevitable, noticing tempo and coming of something slow, fast, comforting, or tragic
questionning the self/self-doubt, heaviness, reoccuring attempts to uplift the mood but unable to stop the reoccuring depressing theme,
hope, it will be okay, move on
curiosity, freedom, experimentation, excitement, joy, expressive freedom, confidence
calm, collection, comfort, tasteful, beautiful
Men I still lern so much with u .... Thank u so much
ОтветитьPlay the scale not bass..😢
ОтветитьYou can’t get me the way “flirtatious” did then send me straight to the caretaker album after with confused
ОтветитьDisruptive is just my nephew slamming the keys while i try to play the song 😂😂
ОтветитьMost of these are not emotions but maybe feelings, but very impressive and insightful nonetheless!
ОтветитьNever attempted before. sounds about right
Ответитьwhat a mature soul
Ответить"And in true Jacobian style, This first chord of the Jacob Collier passage is a super ultra hyper lydian chord"
wtf hahaha
What a master of emotions and music.
Ответитьits fun listening to this the first time through and closing your eyes and guessing the emotion as he plays!
ОтветитьI still believe Jacob is AI. Prove me wrong.
ОтветитьBlessed with the abstract raw knowledge and implementation are just stunning, such a fan and im going to take my music way more seriously now on
ОтветитьI find you absolutely fascinating. Your brilliant expression of such a beautiful gift is so, so impressive, and so amazing.
Ответитьdisruptive made me laugh but the way his face light up in unexpectation and excitement when he saw that he could play as himself, with his emotions was priceless
ОтветитьWOW🎁 oooo I wish the emotion would last a wee bit longer, perhaps next time.
ОтветитьMore teacher than musician, more musician than artist
ОтветитьA luscious and expressive exploration of metacomposition live, just genius
ОтветитьYour Jacob Collier is happier than your happy. Love your soul.
ОтветитьSo, now we know that Jocob was flirtatious with his music all that time
ОтветитьHe speaks like a robot and sings like he has a mental disability. Is he on the spectrum?
ОтветитьBravo 🌺
ОтветитьHe's so brilliant and eloquent! Kudos!
ОтветитьI seriously cannot stand this guy. He is so full of himself, its disgusting.
ОтветитьIs it normal to become fan of this great artist... master... genius?
I'm totally amazed!
„The A, which you thought is part of f major is part of f# minor. Can you believe it?“
No, I can’t, Jacob. But I believe you’re talent
London Derrière
Ответитьa little more time at each emotion would have helped in my opinion ^^
like: one full go of the melody
‘Confusion’ was perfect. Impossible to hear what key was being played in. Musically very confusing
ОтветитьThankyou
Ответитьhe just described all the emotions through music, not even close to the danny boy melody=)))
Ответитьbetrayal wasn't as good but maybe it's because he hasn't experienced much of it. betrayal is a mix of grief and anger. for me, betrayal is negative so many minor chords and a very dark theme but with splashes of forte passages that come in waves of rage so turn minor chords using their inversions to reaffirm it and go higher. but that's me
Ответитьflirtatious was great
ОтветитьThis was so fun to watch. I'm a graphic artist, so after watching this felt like I was transported to a whole new world and its music! just amazing.
ОтветитьAnnoying
ОтветитьI get it Jacob but I don't. 😂 In all these cases the emotion is certainly being played so you nailed that 100% but the song is lost completely under frills runs that I didn't even recognise the song. It was like you took hammer to the song and just built new songs with the mood etc also you didn't really explain what your thought process was 😂
ОтветитьAsk Jacob if he smokes weed
ОтветитьHe eats more corn than anyone on planet earth
ОтветитьHis expression of Guilt hits so hard, a virtuoso
Ответить"disruptive" was just about the funniest thing ive seen all day
Ответитьcos he white
ОтветитьThat was so interesting to me as a human and a musician. So many dimensions... absolutely fascinating. I loved hearing Jacob speak about the emotions as he analysed how he'd expressed them in music. He was so insightful about emotions themselves... somehow i found it comforting hearing him express all those feelings that I've felt. Brilliant challenge...might try it myself!
