I think I’m starting to hear that every French “r” sound is a back-of-the-throat sound instead of my native English tip-of-the-tongue. For some reason i can only get into the “French accent” mindset when i say “rouge”, it’s such an unnatural motion for me!

Americans who have heard of the brands just say YSL and err-mess

i can speak both french and american in good accents, so i can say i already know how to pronounce most of them in the correct way.

In the US, if you know about the brand, it is “eve saint laur unt” and for make up it’s usually just YSL 😂

The Spanish/Italian R's are so hard. When I speak spanish I pronounce my R's more like the French or Germans it's more Airy vs Trilled
