Such a relaxing flowing experience of a song...... When I first heard it I could just feel that there would be lyrics ....( First heard the instrumental version ) 2yrs ago........

Absolute tune and the game is a work of art. The music just matches it perfectly.

"We're up against it" is such an apt line to describe the detectives' situation.

Im not sure what the lyrics actually are, but it sounds like "Rub against it" which encapsulates Harry so much.

He's described as a magnet held against the world, forced to absorb all of its Ideologies and ideas. Poor Harry, its no wonder he's a Superstar Apocalyptic Communist Cop!

Seriously though, I think this is great characterisation for Harry, because he literally has no idea what he's here for at the start of the game, easily warranting an "uhoh!" 😂 so this song suits him and the Whirling amazingly.

Actually didn't care for this track at first, but it grew on me, to the point where it's my favourite DE track and my go-to for studying and when I'm out and about downtown.

Legit question. Why are my videos being spammed with copyright claims from this song from Streamer mode on disco elysium from a "Merlin" publishing, even during parts this song isn't playing? Just seems kind of, and this is just my opinion, but not acted in good faith given that one would assume that's the entire point of "streamer mode" and basically just a giant middle finger to anyone uploading content related to Disco Elysium, also wondering if this is being done to literally everyone who has posted disco elysium game content or just specifically me because I had a spat with this same "Merlin" publishing over some nonsense involving a wub machine remix (not that its relevant but a spat I won ultimately)? Would def appreciate a response, thanks.

Never heard of this band until playing this game, but great song really digging it, with or without the lyrics/singing. Really nice tune, and it got me into the game very quickly.

I can't believe this version was recommended to me after 6 months! I played both the Day and Night versions of Whirling-in-Rags to death when I discovered it a year ago. Listening to this version -- with the lyrics and updated instrumental -- felt so surreal, like I'm listening to it for the first time again.

I've heard of British Sea Power (Now just Sea Power) before playing Disco Elysium, mainly very overwhelmingly positive reviews of Valhalla Dancehall.
After playing Disco Elysium I took a deep dive into their discography and I gotta say it was one of the best experiences of my life.
Cleaning Out The Rooms is my hard favorite, but Whirling with Rags with lyrics might take the cake :D
I encourage everyone to listen to their earlier works before VD and Let the Dancers Inherit the Party.

The other day I put this song on loudly and then I suddenly remembered I had to go upstairs for something. I stopped in my tracks whilst walking up the stairs, the building filtering the audio. A chill comes in. Is that two men playing boules I hear out the window? it couldn't be...

So cool hearing this track with lyrics. Disco was an incredible piece of art and doubly so for introducing me to Sea Power.
