The best solution it is controls like the spidertron. If I press down, the train must try to turn down. If I press right, the train must try to turn right. Etc.

Plot twist: this is just a camera trick where they fix the perspective to the train.

I wonder how that'd work if the entities changed their look according to your perspective. It's weird seeing the train lean when circling

its really cool but the way that the trains sprites are created are for top down stationary camera, that means that when you turn, the train looks like its wobbling
i can definitely see why it would be useful, but also why it wasn't added cool find though

Gotta say I knew at first it was a joke. But I was curious because you had a mod. I wanted to know exactly what you were doing (I was thinking in old troll mods like a train that goes very fast but in hidden mechanics consuming 999GW per tick so whatever fuel you put there it would disappear).
But I just had to open the the control file... must say. I wasn't expecting it to work like that.

Awesome. Does it work on planes in vanilla, too? Always love that feature since the tutorial but I never manage to land safely due to the fixed perspective.
