Use to b fat so when I get into my old ways of eating like cheat days I have to run n weather cannot stop me I get cold quick so I got Jordan sweat suit n I put layers n plastic bags on socks n sneakers so I don't get wet I have a problem need a tread mill

ОтветитьI stopped running because of the cold weather outside but every passing day I feel like I’m cheating my body by not going out and putting the work in I’m gonna just have to suck it up and embrace the cold! Going tomorrow morning before the snow storm hits tomorrow afternoon

Ответитьi always run in the freezing cold with just a tshirt because it conditions my body. 20 minutes into my run, I wont even really feel that cold anymore because my body is doing a good job of retaining heat, then when i go inside my fingers feel very hot. Then when i actually do wear a jacket, gloves, and a hat, i will be super cozy because im already used to being in the cold without them.

ОтветитьSo I plan to join the marines and I have to do a 3 mile run under 20 minutes and right now running outside is cold and I struggle running for even 5 minutes in the cold weather but on indoor treadmill I ran 1 mile in 10 mins, can you or someone give me some advice

ОтветитьI LOVE running in cold weather...especially in the 20s. But, I definitely wouldn't do vo2 max or HIIT training in those temps, as the cold air constricts the air passages and makes it MUCH HARDER. But, long 9-11 mile runs in those same temps, especially on the nature trail near my house, are my favorite runs of the year...and because I am not breathing heavy on those runs, the constricted airways are no longer an issue.

ОтветитьIt's cold here rn it's 45 degrees so I feel like doing some runs I'm sleep more early now and wake up at 3:40 am I'm gonna go even do runs across this whole bridge and then run to the park and do a whole run on the track I just needa stop being lazy and start exercising fr cause I haven't been in the gym for 8 mouths already and been just laying down and eating and doing nothing it's time to start now April 25th 2023

ОтветитьGood advice. The hard part on cold days is (1) getting out the door. (2) completing the first mile. After that, it's OK.
