Finally G-Shock FIXED the new Casioak!! 2023 GM-2100c review.

It's a very nice watch, I really like it, but don't wear it if you don't want to be seen from afar in the desert, or in the water, or in the jungle.

Dunno about military use in the field: you can spot the bezel of that positive LCD screen version from a mile a way

Disclaimer: only the ones with IQ of 190 or above can set the date, time, stopwatch, time zone etc, even with the Bluetooth pairing with your phone, on a Casio G-shock watch...😆😆

I have just bought one and it is truly great. Very comfortable, easy and practical. Casio is always a God Tier level on watch making although Shakira doesn't like.

I have something like 120 watches, with, among others, PP, AP, Pam, Rlx, Omega, Breguet, J. Droz ecc ecc. But no G-Shock by now...
And this is finally going to change :) This is gonna be finally my 1st G-Shock.
Not so plasticky, not so huge, not wrong color (even tho the perfect combo for me would be this dial inside the darkened GM-2100CB-3A case, but whatever, I may buy both and assemble them that way...), not stupidly expensive for what it is, and good for hiking without worrying

hey there ty for the video ........question why military want a shiny watch ( polish .....case ) ? MUDMAN series , mat colors and big buttons easy to click on gloves .....on the other hand when i was and where i was in the army we didnt have watches ............so i dont know how to have blink blink stuff when you drag yourself in the mud

Which should I go with GM2100-1A silver or 2100C with nato strap? Any advice please?

Altrough black watches are not my cup of tea because they look like plastic even when are made from PVD titanium, in this case the black plastic one looks worlds better because the all black low contrast hide the stupid fugly kitschy poor taste busyness and at least looks cool.
This one with silver is in your face fugly busy kitsch.
To look nice Casio needs to drop both the two secondary dials. A push can actuate an iris to reveal a hiden dial, one nicer lookig even when revealed, but even without such hidden dial, the watch refined without busy stuff would be wey nicer.

I'll take it.. but I would put the black rubber strap on it. I like to go fishing and straps like those absorb water and become smelly over time if you let it dry on your wrist. hooks can get snagged on it too. not a problem with a rubber strap.

Citizen eco drive which is a solar watch keeps a charge for 6 months in the dark.

I was doing some measuring with my trusty digital caliper on my wrist and it looks like my skinny wrists won't work with this watch, thanks Dad!

never been a fan of the casioak. The negative displays are rubbish. If they gave it a screw back I would buy one but its just very bland.

The casioak is great and all but I really dont feel the digital clock any recommendations?

I believe all the Women's line have positive displays. White, smokey light blue, a light but khakis green, and 2 light pink ones. I have the negative display virtual world one, and also a pink with rose gold accents, the white and Smokey blue. The last 3 have positive displays. Of the last two, one I'm going to put into a metal case and bracelet. Just not sure which of the two.

What is the lug width between the lugs on the adapters? It seems to be kept a secret?

You should move your microphone to the other side when wearing a nice watch on your left arm.

Military people will not use this model. The metal bezel will reflect light, not safe in the field.

In the Army, we don't wear reflective watch unless you want to be kill in the first place 🤣🤣🤣

Solar watches have long battery life. If a solar is fully charged it would take months of no light exposure for them to die. If they keep dying on you its because you haven't worn them in so long and if that's the case then why own them?
