This is such an useful video and channel!!!!! I'm new to dirt bike and found this super helpful. It compares everything I want to know and care.
ОтветитьGreat video! On the 300L do you find yourself shifting more frequently on single track or technical terrain compared to the 250L? Rockey Mountains Rider
ОтветитьLove this video setup/ breakdown... I want my first bike.. but I want to have a dual sport so on my way home if I want to explore.. I can and so I still have the freedom of the motorcycle life 😍 I think I'm between a drz and this crf300..
ОтветитьSorry but the 300 really ain’t that much different to the 250…both awesome bikes!! Can’t go wrong with either
ОтветитьYo - lemme axe you sumpmm. How well do these ride a ho?
ОтветитьGreat comparison. I really appreciate it because I’m pretty focused in on the 300 rally. In fact I’ve got a deposit on a new one in a town about three hours away. But, a lightly used to 250 rally (less than 500 miles on it) just popped up for almost half the price at another town up north. If I can get the 250, I’ll probably go for it, and modify it if I feel the need. Your videos have been really helpful. Thanks! 👍
ОтветитьGreat review. Very helpful. Thnx. 👌👍
ОтветитьGreat video fellow rider you tuber enjoy
ОтветитьJust what I was looking for 😊💪👍
ОтветитьThanks for the comparison. I own a CRF300L Rally and I love it. I just came back from the Giant loop ride in South East Oregon USA and the bike road like a dream on and off road. I was able to cruise on the highway at 65 to 70 with out any problem at all. Off road this bike is just as good as you have said. Great bike!
ОтветитьExcellent review and comparison!
ОтветитьGreat vid and review. Bdw what camera stuff your using?
ОтветитьYou are the only one saying that 250 suspension is softer than 300..
Ответитьafter debating for months between a 250 or 300, i just couldnt justify the $7300+ out the door for a new 300 (tax, title, lic, dest, setup, doc fees). instead I found a beauty 17 CRF250L ABS with an EJK tuner, a full FMF exhaust, new rubber, with only 3K miles, and like showroom new condition. i stole it for $4300. i put another $800 in it for the suspension and shes PERFECT! so total...$5100.
the 300 needs all the same stuff (tires, tuner, pipe, suspension)....about $9000 all said and done.
the 50cc's (and its really only 37cc) isnt worth 4 grand. the best part about the 300 is everybody dumping their 250 for a steal.
Great job!
ОтветитьWatching this video again and just realized the CRF300L Rally only weighs around 10lbs more than the CRF250L. Wow
ОтветитьThis review was tremendously helpful man. I have been looking at getting rid of my ZX10R and getting another dual sport and have been having a hard time deciding which one to get. I have always loved Hondas because I feel they are some of the most reliable bikes ever made. I thought about getting the Crf450RL but then realized that seems to be mostly just a dirtbike motor with a street legal setup (I mean what other street legal bike has 800 mile oil changes??) I think the CRF300L might be the sweet spot for me in terms of reliability, road use, and offroad use.
Thanks for the great review man, you get a sub from me!
My 250 is hitting 87 mph. Smooth. Full race tech suspension
13-40 gears. 14" Dan moto carbon pipe with jdk fuel mapping. Tires are 120 100 18 and 90 90 21 knobbys. O-60 is 6 flat. No bullshiit. Bro. Swear to God bro.
Excellent video and comparison. Had a 2013 250L for 5 years. Added several mods. Didn’t like the 5 speed tranny but I learned to use it. Bought a Bonneville T120 for a replacement. Been missing off roading ever since. Am considering the 300L now. Also looking at the Ducati Desert Sled, but that’s a different animal. Your video has helped a lot! Thanks Daniel.
ОтветитьThe KLX didn't need much improving 😏.
ОтветитьWhat about seat height ? I am short 5’4” I have a Yamaha tw200 now and want to upgrade .. what tires you use for sand ? I am in Florida.
ОтветитьFor the average person the bikes are almost identical...🤷
ОтветитьI've ridden both of the rally's in stock form the 300 just felt like a refined 250 it didn't blow my 🧦 off they both struggle on the 🛣️ especially where I live in Phoenix the suspension is still EXTREMELY soft the 286 motor feels nice for what it is but I don't feel that it's as much of a gain as it would be if they put something like a 305cc or something a significant jump with a whole new motor would b so nice. I just want to see Honda jump ahead of the competition rather than always be lagging behind a little bit. I give it to him they're not lagging behind and reliability or anything like that but it would just be nice cuz I kno they're capable of it... (MORE) 🏍️💨💯👍👍
ОтветитьGreat video. Where is the location?
ОтветитьGreat video.
Ответитьperceptive analysis- I'll sub : )
Ответитьits nice to see a review thats about the feel of the bike and not paper stats!
ОтветитьBeen riding since 11 years old. 65 now and bought a CRF300L back in 2021. Great bike for the money. Had a DR 650 in the past. I liked the grunt, but it was top heavy. The 300L is so much more manageable. I do have a couple Harley’s for the street riding. Ride safe brother!
ОтветитьThis is the best comparison I’ve seen. Good job. Subbed.
ОтветитьI currently own a Honda XR 650l and am upgrading to a newer and smaller model Honda. At first, I was looking at the Honda crf450, but they wanted $10,000 for it,so this crf300 might be the one I get. I want a bike that's easier to maneuver and wheelie.
Ответитьwhat if your like 5’7 120 pounds.
ОтветитьGreat review, really helped
ОтветитьGreat review,thanks Andrew
ОтветитьHow's this for transition ... or perhaps evolution - I taught my boy to ride (and me to relearn after 25 years outta the saddle!!) on a 230L, then a low mileage 2nd hand 250L, and now to a brand new 300L. We love all of em, and cannot bring ourselves to part with any!! ❤❤ 😂
ОтветитьGreat video. Bought one today... great ride home on it. In the UK... so not as may accessorises as you guys, but I will probably weld up some racks and panniers (in aluminium). Again, great video, thanks for putting in so much effort, it was very entertaining.
ОтветитьGreat video. Where were you riding at?
ОтветитьJust bumped into your channel. Excellent review! A pleasant upgrade from the rambling bits we sometimes see elsewhere.
Ответитьmy fist bike was a 1984 honda XL250S 4 Strock ,now i have a 2020 CRF 250L black with red pin striping
i also am 5'4 had to lower the swing arm for the feet to touch the ground
if you change the front drive sprocket one tooth and back sprocket down 2-4 teeth for long distances
What about the seating position of both? Any pics?
ОтветитьWith an aftermarket upgrades of my 2013 crf250L, installing an EJK, Q4 FMF exhaust and mega bomb exhaust pipe, K&N airfilter, with 14 & 45 sprocket, YSS rear shock, I don't think so the new 300l can beat my upgraded 250l, I have encountered stock 300l in the road but they are just left behind with jps measurement my 250L can reach a top speed of 150 km/hr. I don't know with an upgraded 300L how much maximum speed can attain.
ОтветитьI have math questions in this video, lol😂.
Ответитьi perches a new CRF 250L in feb 2020 coloured in black , i had a honda XL250S 1985 before
ОтветитьI really appreciate this video. I bought a crf250l last year and have really enjoyed it. I’m going to keep it for my kids, but you made a great argument for the 300. I will be going to my local Honda dealer next week.
Thanks so much.
Which rim decals did you put on your 300L? Thanks!
ОтветитьNether, but, the 250 is the way I would lean . If the 250 was not water cooled and stayed 6 speed there'd be one in my shop
ОтветитьAndrew - this video is such a fantastic resource for anyone interested in either the 250L or 300L. Thank you!
ОтветитьGreat video! I'm thinking about the CRF300L for commuting daily and for a weekend on adventure mode. Greetings from Los Andes mountains in Chile 🇨🇱
ОтветитьRolling on a 2012L. .... Zero intention to upgrade ... She's never let me down...!
Crap Game 🎉
I'd like a smaller bike, but at 320lb I might as well stick with my 320lb KTM 625. same weight with loads more power. might look at a crf250f instead for a more trail orientated bike I could ride on the road every once in a while.
