Tolkien: Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne,
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Gandalf: * Ignores door bell and bashes door with staff *

Wonderful.
Don't know how
I haven't seen this all these years.

Just one thing in my mind if I may ask.
My humble question...

Is his voice here AI made ?
Or did he actually read the poem somewhere,
in English and in Mordor language ?

Nice video - there's something about Lee's Shakespearean background, his magnificent voice and musical sensibility, and his almost epic familiarity w Tolkien's work - his phrasing and intonation of these lines suggests a deep and independent, almost tactile sense of this material that was perhaps barely tapped in the LOTR films - tho of course his Saruman is justly iconic -

Can I use this as an intro? I'm writing a deathcore album from the point-of-view of Sauron and the orcs and this would be perfect for an intro track

Well-Done

This epic scene that Christopher Lee powerfully makes clear is the evil in us.

JRR Tolkien would love how his LOTR is brought to life. As a translator and commentator on The Jerusalem Bible, it's evident he saw the struggle between good and evil in us. Eve was very brave in seeking knowledge of good and evil that King Solomon later prayed.

The Savior warned to know the evil in us, which Jung confirmed. Jesus would refuse worldly power that we might also, that Frodo was barely able to.

Thank You for posting this, Christopher Lee Fan.

Well-Done.

someone pointed this out, 3 for the elves, 7 for the dwarves, 9 for men, 1 for the dark lord. 1973. What year did tolkien die? 1973...rlly neat coincidence

The poem/curse is the only thing you really hear from Sauron directly in the story and it's just dripping in irony and contempt (Nine for mortal men... Doomed to die). His creepy focus on numbering is also archetypal imperial evil

Damn, Sauron legit made 20 rings, instead of trying to rule Middle Earth homeboy could've just cornered the entire jewelry market and ruled the economy.

There are 5 epic voices , in tv 1) Christopher Lee as we see here .
2) Charles Dance ,which some would remember as tywin lanister or the guy from national geographics Savage kingdom
3) Morgan Freeman.
4)that guy who played Alfred in the justice league , something cage ??? It's either or Charles Dance that did the Savage kingdom.
5)the guy who did mofasa and dart Veda ,his dead now .
6)that cersi lanister lady who did some narration at the beginning of 300 part 2.

There is a younger up coming epic voice artist the waldu guy who played Jamie lanister , remember this post .

Sauron: Looks to the elves "Why aren't the rings working?"
Elves: "Can't touch this~"
Sauron: "Dammit!" Looks to the dwarves "Why aren't the rings working?!"
Dwarves: "That's our secret, ya pansy. We're already greedy."
Sauron: "DAMMIT!" Looks to the human "Why aren't the rings wo-"
Humans: Horrid screeching
Sauron: "...Oh whaddya know."
