imagine crying about a 1 second drop to 50 ish fps on extreme settings in 4k when jumping in water. Meanwhile i'm still on my GTX 970 playing games at 1080p on lowest to mid settings with 40ish fps sometimes. 60+FPS would be a dream for me.

This card is pretty solid for 4k especially since it’s not targeted for 4k gaming. It’s kind of a beast at 1440p and if I wanted to game at 4k I’d get the 4080 anyways.

there is a loot of texture pop in wich i faken hate most of the games have it these days before it wasnt any problem i guess the drivers in order to acive more fps it make verry short rendering distance

1440p is more than enough for me personally.

And if I want to play at 4k? I'll turn on Frame generation. Feels like Vsync enabled. no real "latency" perceived.

Both the 4070 and 4070 ti are dedicated 1440p cards that get you comfortably over 60fps. The ti model will get you +15fps, but is that worth an additional $300?

Both cards are crippled by only having 12gb of RAM and such a narrow bandwidth, but this is especially the case for the ti, which really could have been a much better card than it is.

Just give all these new cards a baseline of 12gb and the higher Ends at least 16 meaning 4070 and above with 16gb

I think, when having realistic expectations the 4070ti isn't actually a bad 4k gaming graphics card that's not too far behind the 7900xt in non raytraced games and ahead of it most of the time when using ray tracing. The only real caveats being that it's needs to use upscaling tech some of the time. Especially when you consider the only GPU's that can do decent frame rates (1% lows above 60) and especially Ray tracing at 4k are all north of £1000. (here in the UK) Not bad for a GPU that starts at around £800 (again, UK pricing). (Remember folks that I am comparing to the current pricing landscape and not what we dream they would cost)

When you tested 3080 Ti you said that gpu is a monster, but you tested cyberpunk on 4k with dlss on balanced, which I find it to be a cheat. 4070 Ti have about the same performance and you tested mostly the same games but now you think this is not impressive 🤔

4k60 high settings absolutely no problem. Stop wasting resources for ultra setting just to see a flower or two more.
