As a NAVET I have mad love and respect for the corps! We squid recruits would PT at RTC / NTC San Diego sometimes in concert with the Marine recruits across the fence line at MCRD, but while we finished with a few laps around the track, the Marines just kept running and running and I would literally say to myself "Damn, those dudes are hardcore". I salute all Marines! Semper Fi!

ОтветитьMy brother was a Marine in the early 1960's and spent a year in Vietnam. We were very proud of him but our Mom was a basketcase! I'm sure it would have been nice to hear this song for all Marines when they finally made it back home. Were happy he was one of them! He was very proud of the Corp.

ОтветитьMiss my days in the Corps. I'd go back in a heartbeat. This 75 year old Marine might not be able to run that fast anymore. However, I will match my marksmanship and critical thinking king skills up against any young Marine👍👍👍🇺🇲
