Unfortunately, this is how my father died this year. This hits different now for me.

I thought I would be very happy to see Logan finally die, but I felt very shocked and watched in awe as the family said their final goodbyes. Tom was the most professional and calm in this scene.

Who leaked the story of Logan's death? Was it Greg? I wonder what's in that Logistics folder.

I don't get these kids. They plot against daddy, they put up with daddy who calls them homophobic and other names, they hate daddy, and the minute he's unconscious, they turn to mush. Connor was the strongest kid, he knew his daddy never loved him, so he wasn't going to meet his corpse at Teterboro.

I think this highlights perfectly that regardless of status, power or wealth, we all have to face a situation, or similar situation, like this at some point. Death is inevitable

The whole cooperate culture is so dark! I couldn’t believe they were thinking about business and future options while the deceased man was literally on the plane.

Logan’s sudden death reminded me of my Nanna’s death. She fell in the parking lot one day, and less than an hour later she was gone. That quick. This was a hard watch for me, so very realistic

Connor's Wedding episode is gives me Amphibia's True Colors vibes! That's why! Because both Succession's Connor's Wedding and Amphibia's True Colors are the best episode of all time! It gives me mind blown and shock.

I never thought that I would cry like a baby when Logan dies but these performances were just so genuine that I felt for the characters. But at the same time it feels so wrong, too because of how toxic their love was. Great acting and I writing.

none of the main characters are on dry land after logan dies. the waystar loyalists are literally left up in the air, and the kids are literally out to sea. the solid ground they’d been standing on no longer exists

Tom in this scene showed he was the best among them all. Knowing that Logan might be gone soon, he calmly explains the situation and makes sure they all had the opportunity to say their piece. He tried not to overwhelm them but be blunt about the gravity of the situation. There have been inklings of Tom being the best among them but damn, this moment solidified that despite his faults, Tom is unironically a great guy. And Shiv was very lucky

Logan Roy was a man. And when a man dies, it is sad. All of us will die one day. In this case, it is Logan who has done so. Logan had four children. Now they are sad.

Hello. I am here as a fellow human to acknowledge Logan has, as you know, passed on. Logan was a man. Also, Logan was CEO of the Waystar Company for 50 years. And when a man dies, it is sad. All of us will die one day. In this case, it is Logan who has done so. Logan was alive for 84 years, but no more. Now he is dead. Logan's children are Siobhan, Roman, Kendall, and Conner, who was very interested in politics from a young age. And now, they are sad.

A weird show to give me life lessons, but I've always suspected that the only thing that matters in life is family. Like no matter what, it's just family.

the creators mustve known how this episode would hit with the audience. the target demographic being late 20s to 40s, most people in that age group have older parents where a day like this is going to come in the not too distant future.

very well done.

As much as I fundamentally dislike most of the characters in this scene I literally couldn’t hold back the tears. It’s just such a realistic depiction of getting the worst news possible when you least expect it. The attempts at last words from each kid, half trying to deny its time and half trying to reckon with the relationship they had with Logan, it’s just so real and one of the only times I deeply relate to these characters. Just brilliant

It was the weirdest death scene but also the most realistic. Weird in a way that we don’t witness how he actually died like no body whatsoever but like in real life I mean for me when my father died last 2021 It wasn’t like in a soap opera where you see the body and their last breath no nothing like that. My brothers and sisters just told me over the phone and neither did my siblings witness his actual death. He just died and that’s it.

Wow this hits very close to home. As a child, I slept at my grandparents house one night and woke up suddenly through the night to my grandfather having a heartattack in the room next to me. I was terrified by the suddenness of it all and was too scared to move. He passed away that night.

When I watched this live I thought Logan was playing some sadistic trick on them. I was in complete doubt until Shiv was on the phone and they showed his face for the first time. Then the reality of death hits you; there’s no big goodbye, it just comes.

I love how real this feels. Roman cycling between acceptance and denial occasionally as he struggles to deal with the fact his father is more than likely dying. It’s a very very realistic take on how people handle the death of their parent, especially after multiple past scares. It honestly makes it hurt even more, since you have to delay a decent amount of your grieving process until you have been assured that they are dead.
