ICRC warns of threat of unexploded ordnance in Ethiopia • FRANCE 24 English

Two years after a truce signed between Ethiopia and Tigray rebels brought a bloody civil war to an end, rural areas remain heavily contaminated by unexploded ordnance, the International Committee of the Red Cross has warned, with weapon contamination posing a severe risk for children in particular.
