What your thoughts on 10 pips for higher time frames like 2 hours?

If your loading up on trades for the ten pips, why not just place one 5 lot size trade rather than 5 single lots.....

There’s guys going for even less then 10 pip on the ES futures market more like just 2 or 3. They’ll buy 100 contracts which is $5000 per point and catch say 3 for $15000 and be done in seconds. Sure you have to have a bigger account to buy this many but in time we could all get there.

why just not place 1 big trade instead of 10 trades

I would say do what your skill set allows you to do and work on your weaknesses

I dont understand, Whenever i buy in... .Im down IMMEDIATELY like a 1.60 per 10000 lots. I dont understand. 10 pips wont help me at all

Hi Arty,
I completely agree with your 10pips & 20pips a day concept as I have some strategy which generates me 10-20pips consistently and I have been paper trading it for almost 3 months which is insanely accurate!
Only problem I see is with the spreads!!!! When we do our analysis and also back testing with trading view everything looks WoW.. When we put it into practice in Demo or real accounts then we see this spread issues.
Can you suggest some way or how this can be handled with spreads?

i began trading as a scapler my mentor grew his account just taking 20 pips daily, I have tested and tried all different things to get more from the market but years later i found out just taking 10 to 20 pips is enough for me. great video

I struggled with the 10pips idea because the stop is 10 pips. I also trade the daily since I have a job and I'm on the west coast time zone. I still find the idea interesting, and as a breakout trader on daily TF I can see lots of 10 pip opportunity. I just have to zoom down and see how many hit entry then go back 10sl before hitting TP. Second: I usually go for 100 pip moves but the idea of doing 2 trades for 50 pips TP has got me thinking. Thx Arty.
