Appreciate you sharing it all. I get the feeling it's a lot of graft for lackluster returns. Only been a month so far though, so hopefully it picks it up. I think you've helped me decide not to do social media for my project and just go all in on paying Google. I don't want to, I don't wanna give any of these big tech companies a penny really, but they're the pipers and the piper's gotta be paid.

Alex, I love your website. It makes me want to hop on a plane and visit Estepona. Ugh, I just published my website about cats and it is slow. I still work full-time and I am all by myself, so I am currently writing content and creating digital downloadable products that I sell on Payhip. Next step is marketing I guess. Ugh, not sure how.

Alex, you should sell yourt items on Fourthwall as you do not need to pay VAT. They act as your reseller and they print and ship them. You are a designer and they give you your profit minus their percentage and minus the payment processor fees. The rest is yours and all you have to do is pay your income taxes. Same goes for Payhip shops. I sell digital items via payhip as I think the linking to my site is better. Also they will open their market place end of July.

Great video Alex. Just don't give up. It is growing and it's only just 1 month out, right? Also keep in mind you're used to worldwide traffic, while Estepona is a very specific topic. So maybe the audience isn't huge.

Hi Alex, your building this site and showing your process is really helpful. I'm in the early stages of building a city/tourist destination site as well. Could you please do a video on your directory section - covering how you're creating the pages, monetization, and future plans? I'm considering incorporating directory into my site but undecided whether to have the listings as a subscription or just offer them for free to local businesses. Are local businesses willing to paying for a listing? Seems like a lot of time/work and it might be difficult to maintain with small businesses opening and closing. Thanks!

I think you've done well in a short period of time. The merch is priced fairly, and adding it was a very good decision, so it's not a purely informational site. I also believe this project will do very well with time. Keep us posted.
