I love this recipe and I use it all the time. My cookies used to always look like the thumbnail but lately they've been flattening out in the oven and I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

My cookies literally never turn out this good no matter how many different ways I make them. I give up. I mean look I love me some home made chocolate chip cookies no matter what, but mine are just boring looking kinda thick blobs of cooked dough vs these golden beauties lol

I used peanut butter chips with same recipe. Turned out great.

I personally don't like crunchy cookies almost as much as I hate cheese. So I use all brown sugar and no white sugar

I just made these they are good. My first time ever making chocolate chip cookies from scratch. I will add less sugar to it next time.

I don't understand why people need so much sugar in a cookie. Especially when adding chocolate chips. Cookies still taste good without 80% of the sugar

Thank you! Tweaked your recipe for a work neon themed party. Used all white sugar, 2 egg whites and added food dye to wet mixture before adding to dry. Made batter day before so I could bake fresh morning of work. I went with PINK😊
