bounty hunter (Gondar) everybody like him he give money to ally. but unlike pyke that need to kill enemy with ult. bounty just need to track them with his ult and every hero that kill/assist will get the bonus gold.

i like pyke because previously i played overwatch and played Lucio, who's literally a hypermobile assassin support. the second i saw pyke i knew who am i going to main.

funny how lucio is one of the best game's designs and one of the most healthiest for the game, when pyke is a complete opposite.

Pyke should have only 1 modification to his kit. Q should be like Blitz or Thresh Hooks, once set in hooking in one direction, you dont get to change, taking into account that he gets arount20 minutes to release his Q (jk). I mean blitz and others once they set on a direction there is no changing it but NOOO, Pyke gets to walk up to you and hook you even if you try to dodge. lets not even talk about his stealth that he only appears out of it when he is literally hugging you. Why not add a debuff to it similar to how Blitz W slows. Lets make it in such a way that if he W's, he loses all his grey bar. That way remove his instant 50% max Hp button is removed and he gets to have a choice: Try to run and gain your life back or W and remain at low HP. Remember when Blitz had % HP AP damage on W. Why did they remove it? How quick did they remove it? League will never be balanced because of pro play. Pro players are incapable of playing around a champ that is "OP". Low elo has to deal with busted champs because Pro play consist of 10 players reinacting farmvile for 20 minutes then fighting. Sure after 20 min of farming obviously champs start to feel balanced but they barely feel the early game pressure that some champs do.

putting velkoz as a carry support is honestly funny. velkoz has such low agency

I would like to correct you Vars. There is nothing wrong with Pyke, he is perfect and the best designed champion in the game. Riot should release 4 or 5 more assassin supports just to solidify the class. A support is the class that supports the entire team, it isn't healthy for the game to have that idea of support be pigeon holed into just healing shielding and tanking, while every other roles can do any and everything. having the diversity of being able to play anyway in any position is great. in order to play pyke, you have to hit every ability, and he only does damage through auto and Q, and that damage is limited, meanwhile he is so fragile, late game you will literally get one auto shot by the enemy ADC or any other fed champ. So pyke can move around the map and place wards and clear wards, set up cheese in the jungle before objectives, and gank with the intention of feeding your laners, all of which is classic support work. I love aggro supports, they are my class for sure

I went back to lol after years and I saw that 90% of the enchanters were nerfed so to lower all their damage scaling, making them good only as supports. In the meantime anyway riot decided that it was a good idea creating champs like Pyke or Seraphine who completely outshine every other support. Just delete the enchanters from the game at this point and lets play adc and assassins/mage in botlane.
Riot balancing team should learn how the game works before adding new champions.

In the lategame he is weak. Any good player can catch him and it feels frustrating to play him since his HP is very low.

Pyke patting himself on the back and awarding himself extra gold for his own kills is so funny to me, like that's just something he could do 🏅

Back when Pyke's E dealt damage to monsters I used him as a Jungler. Oh boy. The absolute horror of being able to snowball my team through executions.

I think this might be a hot take, but I think Pyke should either have his Q(tap) pierce every enemy, or his E deal damage to jungle monsters. Yes, I want him to be viable in jungle.

People suggesting that Pyke's ult always give kill to the teammate and give him the cut fail to understand that the ONLY THING this accomplishes is lower Pyke's skill floor and make it easy to optimize ult usage, which is normally one of the chief skills a good Pyke needs. You're not making him weaker, you're making it easier for noobs to shit all over you because the character is now automatically optimized.

I genuinely think that pyke will be weak and not a good champion at all while he continues being a support, this champion should receive some rework to get him out of bot lane and go to jg or mid lane instead

To be honest now Pyke is strong, but only in early and mid game, if late game start Pyke is just useless, he don't do enough damage to kill any champ and he need armor to survive if he get catch.

Pyke IS strong but in the actual meta with all the tank it's just impossible to win, you HAS to finish in 20-25 minutes or you are just a bait champ who wait to ult and a ward machin who can go top to bot in 3 secondes, funny to do but not really usefull.

And i don't speak about adc who 2 shot you like Caitline (that why Pyke tank has existed, to survive in team fight and just stun and hook, the ult and move speed was not the point in the build).

2024 and still complaining about pyke is just sad

The truly depressing thing about Pyke is that they actually mangaged to make an assassin want to buy nearly all support items on his release, and it felt good, which is exactly what they pitched to us. Then when he ended up being strong, they nerfed all of his synergy with support items and enforced buying lethality, and now he's just an assassin.

I'm a Jhin main, enjoy a number of midlane champs. Pyke is so far the only Support that really speaks to me, probably for a reason. Love the mobility and aggressive playstyle. He feels contradictory to his role as a support, sure, but I think she fills a nice niche that is the perfect fit for some players.

pyke's main weakness is a strong cc, but often times strong cc are harder to land, otherwise it'll be too OP for other champs.. and pyke, well he's too slippery for all that

Pike could be a assasin jungle mid or solo but he and nothing about him scream support ks support just screams toxic af

I played with a friend that stopped playing for a bunch of seasons and did not see pyke coming out, he was telling me how pyke was totally bonkers when I played it with him and did not believe me when I said his ult gold boost was even nerfed and that it used to give pyke basically double the gold for one kill

Even if you do really well with Pyke your ADC is rarely gonna be giving you any thanks. IDK how it is at higher elo's but the amount of times I've perfectly executed full combo on an enemy and my team mate looks at what's happening and just decides to farm minions should be ban worthy

Id like a support who helps their team get ahead in gold in a different way. For example, they could have a passive that marks a champion, and if the champ gets hit by an ally they get 5 gold? (Presumably on a healthy cooldown) and maybe an ability that steals 20-25 gold on a takedown from an enemy, granting it to the nearest ally? They'd be like a cool thief/rogue lookin fella

the one trade off against pyke is that his late game is MUCH weaker than his other states. you dont deal enough dmg to carry yourself, and youre too squishy to act as a normal catcher and put yourself in danger to get a pick. so you have to wait for your team to be in a favourable position to then hopefully assist mid fight and during clean up

Pyke is not all this, I honestly play pyke mid because I found the champion a lot of fun, but in higher elos you can punish pyke middle quite offten. Pyke its a accelerator, he has to play agressive, do roaming and stuff like that. The thing is, when you cant do this in the earlt/mid game your game is over, because everyone will over scale you. The thing that annoys me its, if you play velkoz mid our sup its okay, but why riot HAS to play pyke only sup?

As a pyke main, I don’t see going 5/0/4 at 10 minutes as an issue

This is the only character in lol that I always enjoy playing with, and the rounds are enjoyable. My favorite character, none of the others (and there are many in the game) I like as much as Pyke. He's fast, stun, hook, execute. What more do you need? I hate the slow tank characters, the squishy assassins, and the jungle theme is just plain annoying as you keep wandering around the map and always must something else to do. Among the supports, I think it is the best support, because of its mobility.

As I'm rewatching this video 2 months after its release, I'm realizing something. All of his wave clear was removed, right? And his insane ult gold was nerfed, right? Well... not in Wild Rift!

I recently started playing a couple months ago, and when I began, as a Pyke OTP, I was happy to see him in WR. But when I played him, I realized all those nerfs didn't actually happen in WR. He is still a super broken champ there, if not more so because of how small the map in WR is. His strengths are exaggerated 3x by the fact that champs in WR move faster and cover more area. His W feels like a bullet, and his E goes over practically EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF TERRAIN. Not to mention his ult with the AUTO AIM. I literally now have 68% winrate with him in ranked, and have made it to Emerald 3. He is elo-inflating me like no other champion has before. (I do think I am worthy of Emerald, though. Pyke just got me there faster.)

tbh I think Pyke is the most broken character in WR, at least out of the ones I have played. (I also play mid Yone Yasuo and Pyke) Maybe Riot just thinks balancing isn't as important in Wild Rift? Anyway, I am happy my favorite Bloodharbor Ripper is free to terrorize the north texas playerbase.

I keep hearing about Pyke's kit. I have no Idea what it is. But they keep inting when I face them. He does not even have an ult when Thresh is about.
