I hate to break your heart. This is a very well made video the only problem is Melchizedek isn't a name. Psalms 110 was written about King David, it's saying he will be a King and a Priest forever like Melchizedek. How could he trace his priesthood from Levi? Levi hadn't been born yet. Melchizedeks name is SHEM the Son of Noah and an ancestor of Abraham.

It was 10 percent to God, not the Levite priest .

Nice video. We have to remember when Paul said he is without father or mother it is not Just from thr accounts in scripture as Paul Also says Melchizedek has a Indistructable life. That is Not mentioned anywhere else. So Paul was given Insight into who He was Beyond the verses U mention. Paul said Mel was Immortal, And that he was not Born And that he had No Genealogy. That is not a regular person, or just a type. Paul Essentially said Melchizedek is actually alive Today because he said He has a Indestructible life, not my words, Pauls words.

The Melchizedek is a title of a revered priesthood (non-Jewish or Christian). When the Old Testament was written he was written into the story to legitimize Abraham and the Abraham story (not history). This device was common in ancient times and we encounter it again in the New Testament where three wise men come to lend legitimiacy to Jesus (who should not need it as a son of god).
He is without Father and Mother because a title is not born, it is bestowed by level of holiness. That is why it cannot be passed on through children. King of Peace is one who enters a state, not a place, of "silence", which is the only door to Holiness.

Melchizedek had no father or mother - Jesus has a father and a mother. Melchizedek is not Christ.

To explain this one has to understand TRUTH prior to our accepted teachings. While the Bible is a valid book there is much that is not detailed fully about events, places, people as it should - thanks to the redactors working for the Roman Catholic Churches who wanted to insert themselves and made Christianity a religion rather than what it had a great opportunity to be which was a (the) way of life....as it was intended. Now, Melchisedec is a word/title in which so much is included in it that it is hard to tell all that the word intended to convey. However, Melchisedec was from the class of Immortals (never to die). This is why they speak (read of) him the way that it is. How is it he knew of THE FATHER before Abraham - in which he blessed him? How is it he disappeared then resurfaces 1000 years later? Because he was the shiny one, kinda' like Jesus that is why. Jesus was the one begotten son, but so was Melchisedec, at least at one point (huh?). They are however two DIFFERENT beings - at least in our human earth understanding of 'different'. When the two witnesses (Moses/Elijah or Enoch) come everything will be explained. But I will say that it is an AWESOME story/progression/occurrence - whatever you want to call it. It's beautiful! By the way 'priest' is a typo/mislabeled translation. Which is why he was also known as a king - these two titles are totally different from one another.

One of the strongest proofs that Jesus is King of Righteousness and King of peace (Melchizedek) is the oath of an eternal Priesthood. If Melchizedek IS OR WAS A REAL PERSON, a historical figure that appeared to Abraham, he was given by God the OATH OF AN ETERNAL PRIESTHOOD.

"You are a Priest FOREVER.." (Psalm 110:4)

This oath of an eternal covenant CANNOT be taken from Melchizedek and given to Jesus. There can't be TWO King-Priests who have the same oath of an eternal priesthood. God couldn't take the eternal oath from Melchizedek and give it to Jesus. BUT IF MELCHIZEDEK IS JESUS, then the oath of an eternal priesthood belongs EXCLUSIVELY to him.

This divine person was "without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, and having been like the Son of God, remains a priest continually." (Hebrews 7:3)

She serves before her Levite husband in the heavenly tabernacle Holy Place, from her dwelling in the Outer Courtyard. Melchizedek was a type of Christ. The "without father or mother" refers to the priesthood he held. Here is what we learn of him in Alma 13: 14-19.
"14 Yea, humble yourselves even as the people in the days of Melchizedek, who was also a high priest after this same order which I have spoken, who also took upon him the high priesthood forever. 15 And it was this same Melchizedek to whom Abraham paid tithes; yea, even our father Abraham paid tithes of one-tenth part of all he possessed. 16 Now these ordinances were given after this manner, that thereby the people might look forward on the Son of God, it being a type of his order, or it being his order, and this that they might look forward to him for a remission of their sins, that they might enter into the rest of the Lord. 17 Now this Melchizedek was a king over the land of Salem; and his people had waxed strong in iniquity and abomination; yea, they had all gone astray; they were full of all manner of wickedness; 18 But Melchizedek having exercised mighty faith, and received the office of the high priesthood according to the holy order of God, did preach repentance unto his people. A rudimentary study of Hebrew and the Torah would serve well for anyone interested in this subject. Because this video is way off just on the basics.

Please consider the Parable of the Bad Tennents. The Most High God kept sending his representatives. But, they seemingly pretended not to recognize them. So then he sent His Son. "Surely, they will recognize my Son."

Consider this with your theory. Melchizedek was Enoch. In the book of Enoch, a book Jude talks abouts, it tells you the age that Enoch died. According to the Book he does at the age of 550. God brought him back. As the church is brought back to earth so would Enoch..... By the way Jesus had a mother.

Good presentation, but you fail to mention the book of Jasher, that says that Melchizedek is Noah's son Shem who with Noah raised Abraham. How does that fit in with the other scriptures?

its a clear Christophany. the description of the bible is clear and literal. remember that we should not change words and meaning and interpretation as some preachers do. let the bible interprets itself and explains itself. if God wants to show Himself in any manner He wants in both old and new testament what is that to us? He is almighty God, no one can dictate how He wants to manifest Himself.
