A thoroughly charm-free zone .

Thankfully the people who owned didn't make it into one of those ultra modern interiors that I personally loathe. Since so many houses do not have built in closets, I noticed that the ones in this house do not go up to the ceiling. I think that's a bit of a waste since everyone can use more hiding spaces. I guess I'm just used to always needing more closet space. The house is extremely nicely done.

This House is massively overpriced even for London, The asking price is over the top,
Maybe the seller is hoping to get closer to 4 million, for that kind of money the smart
buyer would move further into the country and get a better property for that kind of lay out.
London asking prices is madness.

My five year old 4 bed, 2 Bathroom (one en-suite), 3 reception rooms, 10x10 meter detached house with a slightly smaller garden in North Nottinghamshire cost me £219,000 5 years ago, now worth about £3000,000. My nearest East Coast train station is 9 miles away and takes me 1 hour to London.

It's a nice house, but 4.3 million? Jesus. I grew up in Ealing in the 90s and the houses were 10% of that. I live in Austin, Texas now and that will get you a mansion ranch by a lake here. I'd never go back.

An extremely ugly house in poor taste. Besides, the British are so primitive that they have no taste, no sense of beauty, aesthetics and taste at all. How can you live in these old, smelly, dusty brick houses without any normal person being able to understand it? In Poland, the poor live in such dilapidated brick houses. Although their children actually live there now, because all the poor people, unable to cope in Poland, went to work abroad, among others to Great Britain.

I have lived in 3 huge houses and sorry to burst the bubble but you really have to limit your aspirations. It's all about a house being a comfortable and manageable home. Where I've lived the houses were so big it came with terrible limitations. We could never keep the place warm, always seemed draughty, we could never find each other, walked for miles around the house just to get anywhere, could never hear the front door and had to carry a beeper to help, so many rooms spent all day cleaning, gardens were unmanageable so in the end we had to employ people to do it for us, removing the 'homeliness' we all want. We couldn't 'pop' to the shop cos we had to check all around to make sure everything was locked!!
In the end it seemed like the house owned us. Exhausting!

The best investment one can do right now is investing on Forex trading though stocks are good but ever since I swapped to Forex, I've seen so much difference

The mouldings around the ceilings are called Cornice. Architrave is the moulding which frames a doorway or other opening

I will never understand why people buy beautiful period properties and then impose a modern interior. I suppose they have kept most of the fireplaces and cornicing etc so you could decorate and dress in a style more suited to the house.

beautiful house, but why on earth are all the bathrooms especially showers so tiny. the ensuite on first floor and family bath. 4800 sq ft of living space and still such tight spaced showers :/
