The Quetz not landing when stam'd out is, as far as I know, something that all fliers do if they stam out without anything to land on in render distance. They just stick there instead of the forced auto landing.

Edit: I will say though is all it takes is one person finding you to end your whole career. Sky quetz is not at all defensible apart from having flying dinos in neutral or aggressive in formation with it. All it takes is one person with an owl finding you to end your whole career since nothing will fly down as fast as the quetz will fall after being bombed.

You don't necessarily need grapples in lunar all you have to do is melee in the opposite direction you want to go. Look down and melee to go up.
