And how do i find the chords or keys whatever that first part was
ОтветитьAmazing tips!
ОтветитьI’ve been searching for a video like this for years. Finally found it!! Well done
ОтветитьExactly the lesson I've been looking for - really well explained. Thanks for making this video.
ОтветитьYes!
ОтветитьBut this is if you want it to have it vocal less and if you use the vocal melody use them as riffs.
ОтветитьAnd this is how you write a song !
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI keep hearing the sting parts between phrases of melody, LOL.
Ответитьseriously as soon as you said bored out of your mind, i came back to reality after having my mind blown by this method. Of the countless videos ive watched in regards to ear training, learning melodies, chord tones, and such, this is by far the most helpful. If you don't mind would you be able to name a few good songs with not to terribly difficult melodies, vocal or otherwise, that would be decent to practice with? If not its all good man, either way you are awesome! You've helped me a bunch with just this. Keep up the good work man and thank you!
ОтветитьThe Square of Stich made me laugh harder than I think it should have. Great video - this is something I've absolutely needed to work on for a long while.
ОтветитьI am going to try this I hope is gona change all my playing on guitar I had succumb to how I can figured out the melodies of songs let me hope this will help me and thank you for share this God bless you
ОтветитьMate! Neither was it long or weird. It was great. Definitely something I will try out today
ОтветитьI know the video is good if it starts with wilco!!!
ОтветитьWow exactly what i needed thanks bro
ОтветитьLIGHTBULB!!!!!
ОтветитьThis was a profound one for me. A simple crack that lets in so much light. I’m joining your Patreon to dig the rest. Thanks for all you do.
ОтветитьHi great lesson but ehere do I find that square of stitch graph ?
ОтветитьGreat Lesson!! And keep on singing!!
ОтветитьNo complaints about your voice from me. Great video. Thank you, Stitch! 🙏 Love it!
Ответитьwhat about the opposite? finding the chords to a vocal melody!
ОтветитьThis lesson is perfect!
ОтветитьI’ve watched this one 3 or 4 times already and still learning.
Love your voice man!!
Great lesson! This finally put a few pieces together for me and really helped. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьIsn't it funny how weird people get when trying to sing/hum a bit just as an exercise? NOBODY expects one to sound like Michael Jackson and so no one cares what the "quality" of the singing is like. It is just a demonstration of the method and sounded great for what it is designed to do. Great video.
ОтветитьStitch I would like to buy some lessons from you after 40yrs studying guitar you are the best teacher I've found but I'm having trouble finding how to do it.
ОтветитьHi, that was great. I was wondering can you do opposite approach, finding melody first and use that to figure chord progression?
ОтветитьI like the idea of knowing the chords first and knowing the chords is a great idea for when first putting the chords into a looper.
ОтветитьGenius
ОтветитьI'm more a fingerstyle ukulele guy these days, but I wanna echo this whole lesson. This is pretty much exactly how I go about arranging for ukulele. I'll look at a chord progression and then start noodling through those shapes looking for a musical/comfortable way to tease the melody out of them.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьWow. A total ah ha moment. It’s funny, I know this but had to hear it to realize it. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьAmazing Lesson! Thank you
ОтветитьI used this video and your chord tone video to REALLY take a big step forward in my playing. It happens glacially, but then BAM! Thanks again, as always.
I’ve missed your videos as of late.
I cant tell you how many guitar teaching channels ive commented on asking for an exact lesson on this. Like everything youre talking about and showing.
ОтветитьHow is this going to help guys who do rap?
ОтветитьThat was great! Thank you!
ОтветитьI like it when you sing!
ОтветитьTalk about opening some doors Man that help me out. Thank you.
ОтветитьAs always, you’ve opened a door for me, and that’s just as a guitar player. Confidence and vulnerability…wait, this might apply off the fretboard as well…🤔
ОтветитьGreat lesson!
Ответитьthank you sir great tutorial.
ОтветитьHEY! Where did the paintings in the background go?
ОтветитьThank you for this. You’re a great teacher and remind me of my old teacher; so maybe you can answer this best. Do you have any recommendations or previous vids on how to find chords up the neck? I’m pretty beginner, the only thing I recall from my lessons is 1st position C, a few open chords, bar chords and pentatonic scales and a little about theory. I watch my friends play chords all over the neck and then I don’t even know where to start.
ОтветитьAhh,this is what trey is doing on his dirt solos.tried so many times to figure that out, going to try this approach
ОтветитьThank you!! Fabulous lesson👏🏽👏🏽
ОтветитьA+++++
