Everything about Mobil 1 25,000 miles, 100% Synthetic motor oil.

Mobil makes oil for Caterpillar and they had a synthetic oil available.

Here's what I don't understand. If Mobil 1 has this new oil good for one year, or 20,000 miles, you would think Mobil 1 would just add a little bit more additive and bump it back 25,000 miles. By the way, Mobile 1 EP and the new Annual oil is a group 3 and a little bit of group 4, according to Mobil 1.

I'm sure at the time the Mobil 1 100% Synthetic SF rated oil was the best or 2nd best oil you could run in your vehicle. I wonder if there was any comparisons done at the time between the Mobil 1 100% and Amsoil 100%. That would be interesting to see.
If I could find 5 qts, I'd run it in my 1966 GMC C1000 with the 250ci engine and happily do so. But I wouldn't run it in my 99 Silverado with the 5.3L. In that one I run Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W30. Extended Performance oil can also be run 1 year, or 15,000 miles which ever comes first. I pretty much change oil 1 time per year in it.

As far as I know, the Full Synthetic oil differs from Conventional Oil in that the Full Synthetic is put through tighter refining processes and requirements than the Conventional oil is, plus the additional additives that are added in. But the base oil in both is just regular crude out of the same hole in the ground.

The oil analysis never lies, due to unique driving styles and various driving conditions (climate, dust, etc.). For those who plan to keep their motors running a long time, it is cheap insurance. I'm sure this oil could be good for 20,000 miles under the right conditions, but oil longevity/efficacy has never been a one-size-fits-all affair.

Can you please see what Bizol oil use to make there motor oils , I saw a oil of there which was written fully synthetic maybe a difference please check it and let me know it's a German oil and I think it is 100% synthetic

So in my 1st owner 2002 f150 5.4 106,000 always used mobile 1 the original so would 100% synthetic amsoil going to cause seepage with my engine gaskets an seals ?

Did you ever use Supertech Synthetic motor oil from Walmart? I've have had very good luck with Supertech products. Every time I've used Mobil-1 Synthetic oil, my engines always seem to make noises at startup. Just my personal observations from over the years.

Mobil 1 Synthetic oil SUCKS. I installed this oil into one of my low mileage cars and all I had was knocks and banges when I starting the engine. I use synthetic oil all the time and had no problems until I tried Mobile 1. I ran out to the store and purchased another brand of synthetic oil and did an immediate oil change. Problems solved. I will never use any brand of Mobile oil again and I also warned other people against using it.

I rember my dad using the metal cans of Mobil 1 in our 1976 Chrysler Cordoba and in eveey other car truck we had growing up in the 1980's and 1990's.

How do you know how much or how much less additives company's are putting in thier oils if you just admitted they don't tell you, and it is impossible to find out. Yet you claim to know some comoanys put more or less that other brands you're just completely going on your gut feelings and have no scientific facts. I have 2 of those mobil 1 old oil cans just a bit different looks exactly the same but says 100% synthesized oil they're from the mid 70s

Price is not always the same as quality & reputation of Mobil 1 is no longer equal to the very best oil available. Lab testing right now shows Pennzoil Ultra the best overall . (but that's this week)
