AWSOME TEACHING , 👍 YOU GO STEP BY STEP, AND HOW TO RIG, AND HOW TO USE THE FLOATING WORM IN THE WATER, GOING TO PUT YOUR VIDEO TO SAVE, SO I CAN WATCH IT AGAIN, I BOUGHT A JON BOAT , GOING TO GO CATCH SOME BASS.THANKS FOR YOUR AWSOME VIDEO. 😎
ОтветитьPut bloodworm by procure or trophy bass by procure game on. 😊 i used trophy bass or bloodworm on a soft plastic a bait that didnt buzz or vibrate and caught fish 😊 i did this at dusk and when it was dark and worked well with attractant
ОтветитьInteresting. Just started using a trick work using a traditional Texas rig. Ima try this. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьThis guy is probably a pro or competitive at a high level. I'm not a pro. I don't fish tournaments. I do have a cabin on a good side reservoir and spend a lot of time on the water. He and I have very different ideas about soft plastic baits.
ОтветитьHave not used trick worms much. I guess all I need to do is leave everything at home but these. Only way to learn a bait anyway.
Thanks for your videos
Not the action I would expect from all of that rigging effort. Try rigging it normally texas rigged, but put point a little farther back than normal. This puts a smooth bend in the worm. No need to bring the point completely through the worm. This gives a “walk the dog” action underwater versus a basically spinning round loosely presentation.
ОтветитьBraid with a good mono leader (direct tied - no swivel) works well too.
ОтветитьWorms do swim in the water. I've yet to see a bait fish look like that
ОтветитьI saw another video where he rigged the floating worm wacky style. I haven't had a chance to try that yet.
ОтветитьIt is a great technique but what’s the brand on the floating worms
Ответитьi use a worm wiggler and caught a lot of bass on it .i gave mark davis some.also a fluke is real good to use

ОтветитьTY sir.
ОтветитьI googled "how to fish a zoom trick worm" and I was directed to your video, and I'm glad I was. I can't wait to give this a try! Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you for the video very helpful, good instructor
ОтветитьI just subbed...I like your style especially how you release the bass gently. I can't stand when I see bass launched back in the water like they're trash.
ОтветитьGreat rig! Going to try it very soon.

ОтветитьI feel sliding the worm up the string like you did will be an absolute game changer! I can't wait to give this a shot now!
ОтветитьI've only been chasing bass for the last few years, and have had most of my luck throwing swim baits and spinner baits. But, I've started fishing a lake with clear water and it's still early (late April, pre spawn) and the only thing I see working (still barely lol) for other guys are bottom presentations i.e. jigs, worms, etc. So, I've been wanting to try throwing some worms 🪱 I think I'd prefer more of a trick worm or whacky rig than a classic Texas rig; keeping contact with the bottom feels weird to me - I'd rather swim the bait a bit more. I do tend to throw a paddle tail minnow onto my spinner baits and kind of hop em along the bottom sometimes, so I think a worm could work wonders added to my skillset.
ОтветитьThank you so very much for bringing your technique to us. I'm going to be fishing in a couple weeks and will definitely use your system.
ОтветитьI will try it today
ОтветитьYou have very good tricks to use and I can use them in South Florida
ОтветитьNice. Always put it through the middle of the tip to be more weed less reasons and never put thick mono through the eye like that. I’m surprised it goes through.
Nice tip to try for hook staying in place and action. 👍
To make those bends in new worms, could you shape them and hit them with a blow dryer? If the bends were strong enough, the worm would act like inurigs, with the action reversed (straight when moving instead of when resting).
ОтветитьIsn’t this basically a fluke?
ОтветитьYou are very helpful thank you
ОтветитьOne last question Glenn is 6 ft of leed line long enough or can I use 4 ft of leed line?
ОтветитьGlenn do you set soft jerkbaits the same way? I just got back to fishing after many years away. I have alot of relearning an brushing up on my knowledge an skill. Alot I forgot an alot develop my skill as well 🤷♂️
ОтветитьI only prefer to use spinning reel, sadly spinning reels are in the 5s for gear ratio. I can't find a high speed spinning reel. I looked everywhere where could you get a high speed gear ratio Glenn? Love the Channell by the way
ОтветитьAnd thankyou for shopping at catchmart 👍
ОтветитьGlenn, you are one of my top 3 favorites. Subscribed and notified.
ОтветитьOk I have to ask you this Glenn. You know how zoom has super salt, original, better than salt, and others? What is the difference in them? Obviously the salt ones sink but do the others float any better?
ОтветитьI had old Mitchell 300 extra spool saved money in line changes ,do any of the new models have extra spools today ?
ОтветитьNice!!!!!
ОтветитьThats slick. Thanks
Ответить"We have a customer" he definitely gave him the business
Ответитьwould a 7" rod work or is smaller rod ideal?
ОтветитьGlenn, I want you to know I never get the feeling I’m waisting my life watching your videos. You certainly have a talent for teaching ( Clearly Explaining ) what you are doing and why. Stealing a line from Dave Ramsey, you have the heart of a Teacher. I always learn something from you and put it to work on the weekends at my Lake Cabin. I so much appreciate your time & talent. These videos you and I assume you wife are making, make my fishing weekends so much more enjoyable and successful.
ОтветитьLamar Underwood wrote “Lunker He spent 2000 hours underwater in the 60’s/70’s. He introduced me to it. This rig works.
ОтветитьGlen, just want say thanks for years of GREAT bass videos and tips!!!! Your one my favorites, my man!
ОтветитьWith that round bend and the angle of the hook point in the worm, it sure looks like your hook-up percentage/ratio will suffer. Be honest, how many missed fish did you edit out of this video?
Ответитьyup - the yellow/black swirl Zoom's been hurtin' 'em this season - worm fishing's my fave way to fish
ОтветитьNice technique! Maybe just me but I've never trusted swivels.
ОтветитьIf you notice the bag does not say ZOOM
ОтветитьI began using Zoom Trick worms last year and have caught so many fish with them. Here in SoCal many anglers are throwing stick baits and Roboworms.
ОтветитьI was in a bass club right when the Senko came out. We figured out this technique right away. It works!
ОтветитьThe extra play of the worm at the tip of the hook is an awesome "Tip" Today my 5yr old daughter caught her first Lrg mouth bass on a watermelon red trick worm! Now I cant wait to try this ''Trick" out tomorrow! Thanks! <>< God Bless!
ОтветитьI just saw this video and tried this. First two cast I caught two small ones. Fourth cast I caught a 2 1/2 pounder.
ОтветитьVery informative 👏👌 thank you
