Stevie had to have had perfect pitch, right? I have seen him tune his guitar just by strumming it multiple times, not the normal relative tuning with the next string down. Just lets them ring for half a second, tweaks it, bam...tuned.

I used to play the guitar and people told me I was really good. Then I heard Stevie play Texas Flood from this show. And my world turned upside down it felt like I,d been kicked in the balls. if Stevie is a guitarist I don't deserve to call myself one

I drove thru Austin, my only time ever in TX, in 1972, I wish I'd met him then. I had already written several blues tunes. We would have hit it off great. I went off to CA to join a rural yogi community.
