What a complete waste of time the remake of magnificent seven is.
You have Seven "magnificent" killers, that can shoot the wings of a fly at 60 miles range.
Can out shoot, out stab, out fight, out smart anyone.
But.
a couple of 1860s Gatling guns, set up on a hill 300m from the town annihilated them all.
Reality would suggest that these magnificent seven could sit in the saloon for 10 minutes and have a beer, waiting until the Gatling guns used up all of their ammo, then casually walked up and used their magnificent skills to kill them all, one handed while still eating a sandwich. Strange, considering that those model Gatling guns only had 20 round magazines.
But somehow the two Gatling guns fired 300million rounds into a town and killed everyone - SO realistic.

John wick films after number 1 are so stupid, especially on rewatch. Some of the most overrated films in modern times. The first one is a classic though.

The first one is a perfect full-on demonstration of the classic Hollywood Cowboy quick draw. My dad being an old Hollywood Stunt man had it pretty well had it mastered and had a pair of Hollywood single action Colt Prop guns that were real, functional Colt 45s cut and weighted to do the spins and cross-hand toss. He also had a big bag of Disney blanks with "loud report, fire and smoke" just like in the clip.

I'm not a fan of tom cruise but the form was pretty damn good.
