Thanks I learned a few things
ОтветитьAwesome instructions...
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your expertise - very well explained - I learned an important lesson
ОтветитьNice work thanks for the tips bro
ОтветитьBet you don't get many calls huh? Has the phone ever rang?? I can't even imagine a reason why you would end the video with a business card that has a phone number with no area code?! What is even the point? Even if people WERE local to you they would not know it.
ОтветитьI can't walk away yet.. SERIOUSLY why don't you have an area code with that phone number? Maybe the paint fumes have gotten to your brain just a little too much? Or are you just "not smart" (There are so many better words I would use here. But I don't want to rial up the simple minded crybabies that are easily offended those little... what is the word I'm looking for, it starts with B and rhymes with itches? ) Oh yeah! That's them, those little b...
ОтветитьWhat sort of roller you using ? Seems like it shouldn’t a lot of paint
ОтветитьThanks for this video! Repainting my bedroom and this helped a lot.
ОтветитьI like your rolling style. You use right amount of pressure and all that.
ОтветитьWatch this at 2x speed
ОтветитьNice I have a job I start tomorrow painting. Will use this info
ОтветитьOMG if I could load a roller like that I'd be happy. I load it, do 2 rolls and the fibres are completely flat. Might as well use a cardboard tube ffs
ОтветитьPretty fast
ОтветитьStep one get a 18’ roller
ОтветитьGreat information. Thank you. Thumbs up and subscribed to show my thanks. 👍
ОтветитьBefore. R2. Vs. Yellow. Vs. Plutonium.
Ответитьlol
Ответитьhoe do you cover so much wall with one load
ОтветитьYou roll walls to fast if your not using a lambs wool nap your going to splash every where.
ОтветитьHow long between coats?
ОтветитьThank you! :D Coming from someone who doesn’t paint walls often, this looks really fun. Can’t wait to try it myself!
Ответитьwhat about rolling the cut ins?
ОтветитьThis video made me realize how bad I am as a painter
ОтветитьYou make it look so easy! I've started painting my apt but I'm struggling. Is there a video explaining how to load the roller- my paints seem awfully thick and it's a challenge to get it off the roller onto the wall ☹️ or maybe I'm not strong enough to do it?
ОтветитьSo I'm dipping too much...okay. I kept putting too much paint to where it was difficult to roll out. I'd like to get an 18-inch and do it better.
Ответитьwhat i want to know though is what roller are you using, i load mine with paint and it isnt getting anywhere near that much coverage.
Ответитьback rolling,,lol
ОтветитьWhat is fade out? What is cut line? You assume that everyone has your background and understanding, which they don’t.
ОтветитьI wish saw this yesterday. I botched my room trying to finish it. Then again, I painted in the daytime and the color was eggshell white. Mother bought the paint.
ОтветитьI wouldn't roll that fast so close to the white ceilings, often tiny specks of paint will speckle it. Many people won't notice it but some will.
Ответитьwhy do you do your first roll after loading the roller on an angle then do up and down, Why not just do it straight up and down first ?
ОтветитьI can never get that much paint on the wall with one load of a roller. I think I'm loading it right. Any hints?
ОтветитьThank you

잘 보았습니다~!
How the fuck you getting so much paint on the wall with one dip, my roller has no paint left after I've gone up the wall once
ОтветитьThank you for these tutorials. You just saved me $600
Ответитьwhat about the dilution of the paint? Do you dilute to not more than 5% or you just keep the original viscosity? If you dont dilute it is quite impossible to do the painting.
ОтветитьAlways go straight up and down.
Never do any zig zag bull shit
excellent video. my dad was union journeyman painter... been gone 10 years he would be 82. To watch you blaze that roller is somethin. smooth as glass.....you have a good day
Ответитьthank you
Ответитьgreat job explaining how to do this task correctly, thank you very much 😁👍
ОтветитьIm not a professional painter but I’ve done some painting. It annoys me that I can’t roll that fast cause I start feeling tiny drops of paint being flinged from the roller when it’s turning fast I can feel them landing on my face then when I look at the ceiling and floor I can see those tiny drops there too so i roll slowly. Also I hate how I see people roll like half a wall without having to redip the roller in paint cause at most I can only roll two lines up and down and if I try a third the rollers ran out of paint. Also when i roll it annoys me to see a heavy line being left behind by one side of the roller. Does any of this happen to you guys? If so how do you fix this
ОтветитьPro builder here, my cut in usually winds up being about a foot away from the edge I’m cutting, using the exact same techniques as this professional painter gentleman. I use a 2 gallon bucket, roller screen, 4” roller and an 2” thin angle sash brush, my cut in leaves only about a 1” brush texture and the rest is roller texture cut in, in which I feather into with the 9” roller on an extension pole. I feel it allows me to work faster with the big roller because I’m feathering into a much a much wider cut in. To each his own.
This guy’s technique is pro grade all day long.
An old, yet still useful demo. Simple, direct and to the point without "fluff".
ОтветитьI’m a DIY buff & watch these videos almost daily. And you sir are actually one of the very few who appears to actually know what you’re talking about. Refreshing change.
Ответитьtempo is too high you will have castoff all over your new clean whites
ОтветитьOver rolling like this causes flashing, bad idea
ОтветитьShould we be using 1/2 or 3/8 nap? Does it depend on roller size?
ОтветитьMerci!
Ответить👍
