She literally planned it with him and asked him to do exactly what he did. The problem was afterwards when the media came down on her for a “wardrobe malfunction” while simultaneously propping Justin up as a lady’s man and a player who deserves praise. The paparazzi were completely out of control largely facilitated by bloggers like Perez Hilton who encouraged the antagonistic nature of them and cheered them on in his blog entries. It took George Clooney lobbying to tighten stalking laws and creating anti-paparazzi laws in the state legislatures to stop the sheer insanity. I mean it was like these sociopaths saw the paparazzi chasing Princess Diana to her death and saw it as a challenge instead of a cautionary tale.

The most disgusting one of all was Sam Lufti, (who you don't hear about as much because 1 he has blackmail material on Perez Hilton, and 2 he's threatened to sue everyone else with slap suits to be silent,) who got into Britney Spears' life and tipped off the paparazzi at every turn even calling Perez Hilton while her breakdowns were happening. What was worse is that Britney lived in a gated community and Lufti LET THESE VULTURES INTO THE COMPLEX so they could get at her. How that scumbag isn't in jail I will never know.

Another media personality that needs to be taken to task is Perez Hilton. Not only did he push the paparazzi to criminal levels of excess, but he weaponized his readers to destroy any celeb he hated. (Or was on the payroll to destroy.) He would call ANYONE out for gay slurs but Paris Hilton got a free pass because A. she was paying him and B. she was letting him use his stage name to win his favor. This would become extremely important when Perez made destroying Lindsay Lohan's life a personal goal as Paris was pushing this behind the scenes the entire time. (It was Perez that made the "firecrotch" BS a thing in the first place and he milked it for a year.) The body count of stars he cancelled and destroyed is Walter Winchell levels of evil and I am shocked that no pop culture commentators have made a proper doc about it.
